Every Yu-Gi-Oh Monster Funko Pop and How Much They’re Worth

Though it debuted in the 90’s, Yu-Gi-Oh is still thriving as a manga, television show, and trading card game (TCG.) The original Yu-Gi-Oh series follows a boy named Yugi Muto as he navigates life after unleashing an ancient Egyptian pharaoh from the Millennium Puzzle and saves the world by playing the card game Duel Monsters. The television show and manga’s depiction of Duel Monsters is what inspired the creation of the TCG, though the show never follows the rules the way real life players have to.

Funko Inc. has created adorable Funko Pop! Vinyl figures of many Yu-Gi-Oh characters and monsters featured in the show and TCG. It’s unlikely that the company will make every Duel Monster into a Funko figure, but for now fans can find some of the most well-known Duel Monsters featured in the show and manga. It seems Funko has focused on the characters’ signature monsters, which will be fun for any collector to track down.

Seto Kaiba’s signature Duel Monster is the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which actually has two different Funko variations. Fans of the show will remember how often Kaiba summons the Blue-Eyes, along with his jet modeled after the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The first Blue-Eyes Funko released in 2018 and is currently still available, valued at $15. The second was part of a Box Lunch exclusive t-shirt bundle pack in 2019 and is valued at $120.

Yami Yugi and Yugi’s signature Duel Monster is the Dark Magician, and though he’s got a few different designs in the TCG, Funko modeled his figure after the version first introduced in the show. He released in 2019 as a Hot Topic exclusive, is currently still available, and is valued at about $16.

The female counterpart of the Dark Magician and summoned by Yugi about as much, the Dark Magician Girl is another well-known Duel Monster. This Funko figure released a year earlier than the Dark Magician, 2018, and is currently still available. She currently has the same value of the Dark Magician, clocking in at $16.

In the show, manga, and TCG, Exodia the Forbidden One is often shortened to just “Exodia.” Much like in the show, this Exodia figure stands tall among other Funko Pops because it’s a “super-sized” 6 inches tall. Exodia was released in 2020, is currently still available, and valued at $27.

Introducing the Egyptian God cards was an interesting narrative experience in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise, so it makes sense collectors might want Funko Pops of the God cards. Obelisk’s Funko figure was released in 2020. Though the Funko app reports that it’s “coming soon,” some fans already have their hands on this GameStop exclusive, 6-inch super-sized Pop. Currently, Obelisk is valued at $42.

The Red-Eyes Black Dragon was Joey Wheeler’s signature Duel Monster, though he wasn’t quite as obsessed with it as Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes. The Red-Eyes Black Dragon Funko Pop released in 2020, is currently still available, and is valued at $13.

The second Yu-Gi-Oh Egyptian God card to get a Funko figure, Slifer was released at the same time as Obelisk in 2020. The Funko app also reports that Slifer is “coming soon,” but the Target exclusive 6-inch Pop has already found a home in a few collector’s houses. The current value for Slifer is $34.

Yu-Gi-Oh remains popular today as an ongoing manga, television series, and TCG. All prices reported are based on Pop Price Guide (PPG) and are subject to change based on supply and demand. It seems Yu-Gi-Oh Funko Pops are being well-received by collectors, so maybe Funko will create more — it would be nice to have a complete Egyptian God card set with the Winged Dragon of Ra.

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links is available now for mobile and PC.
