Harry Potter Wizards Unite – Dark Arts Spotlight Event

Harry Potter Wizards Unite fans are having a very interesting March. While the development team works to address some bugs and prepare the next big patch, the usual round of monthly events have been put on hold. In their place, players are getting week after week of Spotlight events instead.

As the International Women’s Day Spotlight comes to a close, players are now quickly moving on to a Dark Arts-themed Spotlight for the next few days. The new event just kicked off and players will have between now and March 15 to take advantage of some Dark Arts-themed boosted Foundables in the mobile AR game.

Just like the first two March 2021 events, there will not be any timed tasks and rewards, which means that this event isn’t going to result in a new bundle of DADA Books for players to spend this month. That said, there are still some popular Foundables up for grabs, so players can likely make good use of the event today and tomorrow before it wraps up…

Starts on March 12th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific and ends on March 15th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific

Increased Challenge XP from defeating Adversaries (Note: Adversaries are NOT boosted)

There isn’t a list of tasks and rewards for players to worry about with Spotlight events like this, so there isn’t a whole lot of planning or strategy players need to think about heading into this mid-March event. It wouldn’t hurt to review Registry pages and figure out which Foundables are the highest priority for a particular collection, but in general players should be able to just casually login and play however they would like throughout the short event.

Many players are still holding out hope that late March will bring additional events with a lot more tasks for players to worry about with a coming two-part Brilliant Event, Adversary events, and of course another Community Day event, but that just depends on how long it takes for the patch to arrive. Fans of the game should stay tuned as more details about those events arrive and Game Rant is able to detail the full list of tasks and rewards for each of them in the coming weeks.
