In his most recent video, Mr. Beast elaborates on what the challenge will entail and when players will be able to take part. The challenge is available to anyone in the US, Canada, and Mexico through Finger On The App 2, which is available to download now. It’s important to note that Finger On The App 2 is a different app than the original one, and will require a new download.
This time around, players will compete for a whopping $100,000 from Mr. Beast, a massive sum for players to take a crack at earning. The challenge will kick off on March 20, and players simply need to ensure that their fingers are on the app before the start timer ticks down to zero. Once the game is in action, players will need to keep their fingers on their screens, and occasionally touch on-screen objects, to stay in the game.
The first Finger On The App challenge lasted for days, running for 70 hours total before Mr. Beast called the competition. At the time, the challenge was meant to payout $25,000 to one lucky winner, but instead, there was a four-way tie and each contestant took home a sum of $20,000. The last Finger On The App challenge took place in December 2020 and netted $100,000 as the grand prize.
This is a great challenge for those looking to take home a ton of money, or even just see how long they can last against a massive group of other players. Mr. Beast has developed a huge following thanks to challenges like this, and with his channel boasting upwards of 55 million subscribers, it’s fair to say that a lot of people will have their eyes on the prize this time around.
It’s great seeing challenges like this one motivated purely by a desire to give back to a community. Mr. Beast has given away millions of dollars worth of cash and prizes throughout his career, with the YouTuber steadily upping the ante as his influence online grows.
