Fall Guys has been a knockout game that has continued to gain more traction with the content each new season brings to the game. Fall Guys’ third season brought a snowy wonderland theme that added new levels and features for players to engage with. The next season will be adding more new elements for players to enjoy.
Fall Guys recently released the cinematic trailer for Season 4, showing off a glimpse of what players can look forward to when it arrives. The trailer takes players to the distant future and shows off the season’s new sci-fi theme for the world of Fall Guys. It will be bringing new wacky costumes, courses, and other features to the game.
The cinematic trailer starts like any other day in the Fall Guys game, with the beans running through a new course, and one of them gets knocked off. The video follows this character as they fall to the waters below and stay there for a long time. The character is preserved for over two thousand years and thrust from the present 2021 to the year 4041. The character is discovered by robotic tendrils, which playfully dress the character for the future and wake them up.
From there, the little character is dropped into the new futuristic world. The video proceeds to show off some of the new landscape and even gives some glimpses of potential Fall Guys Season 4 levels. As the character is walking through the world, the video shows off a quick preview of characters crossing light bridges before they disappear, and others playing a sort of limbo while showing off some of their new costumes.
The POV character keeps exploring and finds a high-tech elevator that floats them up and then back down with glowing symbols to signify each action. The character is dropped into the middle of a game and accidentally helps one team win the round. Afterward, the character finds a floating crown and competes with another to grab it. The character makes a dash for it but ultimately loses.
The video concludes by showing the fourth season will arrive on March 22 for players to jump in and start playing. There’s even a bit of a teaser at the end showing the new Fall Guys Among Us costume saying, “Fall Guy was ejected. 1 Impostor remains.” The shot even recreates Among Us‘ reference to an iconic moment from the film Terminator 2 as the costumed character falls in lava. The new cinematic trailer takes players to the future and gives a glimpse of the fun that’s in store for them.
Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4, with Switch and Xbox One versions slated to launch in 2021.
