The titular character of the franchise, it’s no surprise that Sailor Moon gets the most variants of Funko Pop figures. In the original version of the show, Sailor Moon’s real name is Usagi Tsukino, but other adaptations change her first name to Serena or Bunny. One of the first Funko Pop figures was Sailor Moon with Luna, which was released in 2016 and is no longer available. That figure has a value of $28, the lowest of the Sailor Moon Funkos.

The second iteration of Sailor Moon featured her Moon Stick and Luna, which was also released in 2016. This figure is also no longer available, but was also a Hot Topic exclusive. It currently has a value of $30. The final Sailor Moon figure to be released in 2016 was a “Glitter” version and a Calendar Club exclusive. This is the priciest of the Sailor Moon character figures, with a value of $135. Finally, Super Sailor Moon got her own Box Lunch exclusive figure in 2017. She’s got an estimated value of $42.

Sailor Neptune is an Outer Guardian and doesn’t make her debut until later in the series. Her name is Michiru Kaioh, though her first name gets changed to Michelle in some English adaptations. Another Outer Guardian, Sailor Uranus has powers associated with the sky and wind, as well as some psychic abilities like her romantic partner Sailor Neptune. Her name is Haruka Tenoh, but her first name changes in some English adaptations to Amara. Her figure was also released in 2017 and has a value of $27. Besides having Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask as a pair, fans should consider getting Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune as a pair too.

Sailor Pluto is actually the first of the Outer Guardians introduced to Sailor Moon and has a unique story. Rather than having both a human persona and Sailor Scout persona, she’s only introduced as a Sailor Scout. It isn’t until her death that she’s reincarnated and gets a human identity as Setsuna Meioh, also named Trista Meioh in some English versions. Her Funko figure was released in 2017 and has a value of $21.

Sailor Saturn has one of the most interesting arcs out of the Outer Guardians. Her human name is Hotaru Tomoe and she and Chibiusa are best friends. Sailor Saturn has one of the sadder stories of the Sailor Scouts, even dying and being reincarnated as a baby. Her powers revolve around destruction and death, initially making the other Scouts fear her. Her figure was released in 2017 and is valued at $55.

Chibiusa, also known as Rini, appears as a figure from the future to seek the help of the Sailor Scouts. She’s also the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and Prince Endymion, with her full title being Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity. Black Lady has only one Funko figure, but there seem to be two different versions of it based on location of purchase. Her figure was released in 2018 as a Hot Topic and San Diego Comic Con exclusive and has a value of anywhere from $125 to $130.

Queen Beryl’s unrequited love for Prince Endymion leads her down a very dark path. Queen Beryl collects energy to give to Queen Metallia, who is also referred to as The Negaforce in one English dub. The queen is the first major villain in the Sailor Moon series. Her Funko figure was a Toys “R” Us exclusive released in 2017 and has a value of $46.

Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion are the future versions of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. Small Lady is actually Chibiusa, as she travels through time in the series to recruit help from the present-day Sailor Scouts. In the English dub, the king is actually referred to as King Darien rather than Endymion. This family triple pack was released in 2017 as a Hot Topic exclusive and has a value of $115.

Sailor Moon remains an iconic franchise in pop culture and beloved by many audiences. Any of these Funko figures would be a great addition to a Sailor Moon fan’s collection.
