A brand new crafting system is at the center of Fortnite Season 6, and it allows players to turn various resources into functional pieces of gear. One of the items that fans can make is the Hunter’s Cloak, and it is sure to be of particular interest to those that are working on the latest batch of challenges. Indeed, there is currently a challenge that instructs players to craft a Hunter’s Cloak in Fortnite, and this guide has full details on that process.
To get right to, fans that are trying to complete this challenge must first collect the relevant resources, which are two Bones and one Meat. These resources are obtained by eliminating the boars, chickens, and wolves that are now appearing across Fortnite‘s map, and the video below highlights some specific locations where they can be found. Notably, there is another new challenge that focuses on hunting Wildlife, and players will make some progress on it while they gather resources for the Hunter’s Cloak.
After obtaining the requisite two Bones and one Meat, it is now time to do some item crafting in Fortnite. This is quite a simple operation, and it begins by opening up Inventory and navigating to the Crafting tab at the top. Players should now select the Meat from the row of items that appears at the bottom of this new interface in order to bring up the crafting recipe for the Hunter’s Cloak.
Now all that is left to do is to craft the Hunter’s Cloak by pressing the input that appears within the recipe. This will cause a short animation to trigger, wherein a character does a bit of hammering, and the item will be created after only a few seconds. Players should then receive indication that they have completed the challenge of interest and earned their reward, which is 24,000 XP applied to Fortnite‘s Season 6 Battle Pass.
One last thing to mention is that this week’s Legendary Quest requires players to craft three items. The Hunter’s Cloak created for the task outlined above will count as of those items, and fans will also make a Mechanical weapon and Primal weapon in Fortnite as they work on the other new challenges. These obvious synergies make completing all of the Season 6 Week 1 challenges quite simple, and fans should make sure that they do not miss out on these opportunities to receive some very easy XP.
