There are some ruins in the vicinity, and a nearby clearing should be home to a beautiful butterfly that will lead players to the anomaly.
At the destination, there’s nothing but a pile of dirt. The obvious solution is to swing away with the pickaxe. Doing so is all it takes to reveal the anomaly and then complete the investigation. Players should be sure to not ignore their surroundings, however. At any point during the challenge, other individuals who are hunting or questing may be encountered and a fight could ensue. Anyone who is adamant about completing the anomaly challenge should gear up as much as possible beforehand to ensure success.
One more anomaly remains, but fans will need to reach the lofty battle pass tier 76 to access it and unlock the final Jones’ Field Pack. Progressing the battle pass is well worth the time, as there are many outfits that players are clamoring for. With these and many more collectibles to find and unlock, not to mention more features likely to come later in the season, fans of the popular battle royale game are sure to have a pleasantly busy time ahead.
