As one of the main characters in the Naruto series, it is easy to imagine that Sakura Haruno has taken part in many missions and completed a great deal of work on behalf of the Hidden Leaf Village. Additionally, her varied skill set makes her a perfect addition to most team structures, as well as having both medical Ninjutsu and enhanced physical strength that are useful in dangerous fights.
As a member of Team 7, Sakura spends a great deal of time with Naruto and Kakashi, the two other main members of the Team before the introduction of Sai and Yamato in Naruto Shippuden. Many story arcs throughout the plot of the hit Anime franchise call for Sakura’s abilities in battle, as well as her loyalty to comrades no matter the cost.
7 Eight Man Squad
When Sasuke officially severed himself from the control of Orochimaru, the members of Team 7 became hopeful that they would finally see their friend again. Therefore, both Team 8 and Team 7 were combined to create a search-and-destroy force with the purpose of killing Itachi and retrieving Sasuke before the battle could take place.
6 Orochimaru Search Team
When Konoha decided to raid one of Orochimaru’s hidden bases for hints on Sasuke as well as deescalating the situation, a massive group of Leaf shinobi was selected to carry out the multi-faceted plan. The initial group consisted of Kakashi Hatake overseeing Team 8, due to their ability in tracking it would easy to find the hidden structure. Subsequent ninja from Team 7, including Sakura Haruno, as well as other genin and chunin from Konoha, came to aid the mission.
The large group was divided into three subgroups to handle damage control coming from the situation. The first two groups would help abate Team Guren and the third group would focus on sealing the Three-Tailed beast.
Sakura Haruno was chosen for the third team and was mainly prioritized with sealing the tailed beast. Her ability in both chakra control, focus, and intelligence were deciding factors as to her role in the mission and made her the perfect candidate for sealing Jutsu.
5 Ino-Saku-Sai Team
Formed under the order of the Sixth Hokage, Kakashi Hatake, the Ino-Saku-Sai team was an elite group of ninja tasked to investigate several occurrences. The first was to root out an infiltrator that was stalling the meetings in the Leaf Village concerning cutting the Anbu budget, while the next objective was centered around Sasuke Uchiha and reports of him attacking Hidden Villages. When the reports weren’t matching the Uchiha’s location at the time of the supposed attacks, they then hunted down Kido who had acquired Sasuke’s DNA and was actively framing him for the attacks.
4 Hanabi Rescue Squad
When the Hyuga clan heiress Hanabi was kidnapped, the Sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake assembled a powerful ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village to ensure her safe return. Sakura was among those chosen to participate in this mission, which was under the command of Shikamaru Nara as the squad leader. Hanabi had been kidnapped by Toneri Otsutsuki, who was also suspected of having something to do with the moon falling, and therefore the team was advised not only to bring back Hanabi but also to stop any further plans being made by Toneri that would harm Konoha.
3 Kazekage Rescue Squad
At the start of Naruto Shippuden, The Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village is kidnapped by the Akatsuki. Gaara, who has been stolen to extract the power-tailed beast from inside him, was taken to the Land of Rivers to be sacrificed to the Gedo Mazo statue. Konoha, as an act of goodwill, sent a forward unit of ninja to help secure Gaara and rescue him, and Sakura was chosen as a member of Team 7.
She then bonded with a village elder by the name of Chiyo who helped Sakura fight one of the Akatsuki members, Sasori of the Red Sand. After sacrificing some of her life force to save Sakura from a deadly poison, Chiyo gave the rest of her life to resurrect Gaara, who had his tailed beast successfully extracted from him by the Akatsuki.
2 Team 7
Team 7 is the main focus of the show Naruto, which Sakura Haruno was placed in. Team 7 consisted of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and Sakura Haruno as teammates throughout the series. It isn’t until later after several years of Sasuke’s disappearance that Team 7 is given an addition in the form of Sai and Yamato.
Sakura spends most of her missions accompanying members of Team 7, and most of her accomplishments are completed around one of her teammates. She was chosen for Team 7 due to her ability to balance out the polarity of Sasuke and Naruto, as well as her gifted ability with chakra control and high intelligence.
1 Third Division
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sakura along with other shinobi and samurai were separated into groups depending on their strengths and abilities. Sakura Haruno as well as other shinobi from the Leaf Village were placed into the Third Division. This regiment was selected due to physical strength and the ability to fight in both close and mid-range combat. The Third Division was known for aiding the Suprise Attack Division against the former Seven Swordsmen of the Mist before rejoining with the rest of the Allied Shinobi Forces to fight against the Ten-Tails, Madara Uchiha, and Obito Uchiha.
