Fortnite Season 6 features a new battle pass with tempting rewards, which means that players are eager to gain XP as quickly as possible. Aside from just performing well during matches, XP can be earned from challenges that are available throughout the Fortnite season as well as daily or weekly quests. The Guardian Towers mentioned in the challenge refer to the six smaller spires that can be found in a radius from the central spire, at the extremities of the autumn-colored forest areas. Simply visiting any one of these will complete the challenge. The quickest way to accomplish this is to immediately land atop a Guardian Tower after gliding down from the battle bus at the start of a match.
It’s a simple quest, but players should be very careful when attempting to complete it. The Guardian Towers are protected by the powerful Spire Guardian boss enemies. Defeating a Spire Guardian during the course of the “Visit a Guardian Tower” quest could prove to be very lucrative though. Boss enemies are likely to drop Epic-tiered loot, and the Spire Guardians in particular drop an orb that can be carried to the central Spire in order to obtain the Spire Jumpboots.
Another threat to worry about at the Guardian Towers comes in the form of rival players. The tower tops are common spawn points for chests which contain useful loot, and the presence of a boss makes this drop point even more tempting. Those seeking to complete the “Visit a Guardian Tower” objective should be ready to loot quickly and prepare for combat at a moment’s notice.
There are many other unique and rewarding quests that players can look forward to taking on in Season 6. Some quests are as simple as defeating players with certain weapon types, and others involve newer mechanics like donning a disguise during a match. The duration of the latest season is sure to have many more interesting twists and turns in store for fans to get excited about, as well as the high-profile events and collaborations that Fortnite has become known for.
