Another Tuesday has passed, and it is that exciting time of the week again that many Red Dead Online players are likely waiting for. For this week’s Red Dead Online update, the online multiplayer title will be doubling the cash and experience rewards for players who participate in A Land of Opportunities missions, and compete in horse racing, among other special bonuses also implemented in the update.
Since its launch in 2019, Rockstar Games has been constant in providing new Red Dead Online updates and content to its player base. Not only did the team eventually introduce new story missions, game modes, and even unique Red Dead Online specialist roles, the developers have also been generous enough to add weekly updates. Though simple, these updates often give players a cash or experience boost when they participate in that specific week’s highlighted missions and activities.
In this week’s update, Red Dead Online has put the spotlight on the questline of A Land of Opportunities. For players who experienced Red Dead Online during its beginning days, this storyline had some of the first available co-op missions in the game. The narrative mostly had players completing some work for NPC Jessica LeClerk, a widow who is seeking revenge for the murder of her husband. However, what is interesting is that some of the missions are only accessible depending on the player’s Red Dead Online honor levels. This allows players to experience different aspects of the story, depending on their inclinations.
The weekly update will also boost the new Red Dead Online telegram missions that were only recently implemented into the game. For this series of missions which are part of A New Source of Employment storyline, players have to answer telegrams from a mysterious in-game character named “J.” Players who complete these quests will also receive two times the money and XP rewards than normal. The update also has cycled its Featured Series again, giving players who participate in horse racing the same boost in cash and experience prizes.
For Red Dead Online players who thoroughly enjoy the multiplayer aspect of the game, the weekly update has a Posse Bonus. This means that players who play in a Posse will get 30% off in a Stable Slot, with Persistent Posse fees being waived. With these money and XP bonuses, plus Posse offers, now may be a great time for avid Red Dead Online fans to invite their friends to play with them online.
