Near the beginning of Genshin Impact‘s Adventures in Windblume quest, players will receive instruction to head over to the designated area and take a picture. In actuality, fans will need to make photos at two locations, though the process is essentially the same for both of them. For those Genshin Impact players that may find themselves stuck as they attempt to advance past this step, this guide contains full details on how to take a picture that is suitable for Adventures in Windblume.
To get right to it, the most important thing to know about this quest step is that pictures that are made with one of Genshin Impact‘s Kamera gadgets will not be counted toward it. Instead, players that are working on Adventures in Windblume need to use the game’s “Take Photo” feature, and it is accessed from the main menu. Indeed, fans simply need to click on the camera icon that is on the left side and then press the input that appears onscreen to snap a picture.
With that clarified, players should find it quite easy to head over to the designated area and take a picture, as they must simply travel to the waypoints that are provided and follow the process that is outlined above. That said, fans will need to have made at least some amount of progress in Genshin Impact‘s In the Mountains quest before that can be done, as the Frostbearing Tree serves as the subject for the first photo.
Additionally, a bit of preparatory work must be done before a player can take the second photo for Adventures in Windblume, as the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven must first be unblocked. To do this, fans should simply break the nearby red crystal, collect the Scarlet Quartz that it drops, and then attack the ice in front of the Statue while the temporary buff is active. After a few hits, the Statue of the Seven will be released, and players will be free to take the requisite picture thereafter.
To note, this does not mark the end of this particular Windblume Festival Anecdote, as there are several more steps to complete. These additional tasks are all fairly straightforward, though, and fans should not have much trouble getting through them and collecting their rewards. Specifically, those rewards are 20 Primogems, two Hero’s Wits, and 20,000 Mora, which will undoubtedly come in handy as players continue their adventures through Teyvat.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, with versions in development for PS5 and Switch.
