Genshin Impact: Windblume Flower Choice Guide (Dream of Wind and Flowers)

As the Windblume festival draws to its conclusion, Genshin Impact players have one final batch of Festive Anecdote quests to complete. In the “Dream of Wind and Flowers” quest, Genshin Impact players are tasked with completing their duties as this year’s chosen “Windblume Star.”

After accepting the quest from the event menu, players will be asked to speak with Jean, who can be found south of the Mondstadt Chapel. Once the player has spoken to Jean, she will inform the Traveler that because they were chosen as this year’s “Windblume Star,” they are responsible for making an offering of Windblumes to the Anemo Archon Barbatos.

Players will then be given a dialogue option of what flower they wish to offer to the Anemo Archon. The flower choices that players have available to them include: Dandelion, Windwheel Aster, Cecilia, Small Lamp Grass, Sweet Flower, and Wolfhook.

It is important to note that there is no definitive “correct” answer on what flower the Traveler should choose. As a result, it is recommended that players select a flower they know they currently have in their inventory. If the player selects a flower they don’t currently have in their possession, they will be required to go and find one before the quest can continue.

After the player makes their offering, they will be asked by Venti to meet in Stormterror’s Lair to get more clarification on Windblumes. Once the player arrives, Venti will direct the player to clear out a camp of Hilichurls surrounding three Anemo totems.

After the Hilichurls have all been defeated, Venti will task the player with addressing the disorderly wind currents in the ruins. To complete this puzzle, players must interact with the switch next to the three Anemo totems.

Once players interact with the switch, the Anemo totems will glow in a specific order. The player must then activate the wind totems in that order using any Anemo bursts or skills. If the player does not have any Anemo-spec characters in their roster, they can travel to the Statue of the Seven and switch the Traveler’s element from Geo to Anemo.

Players can then use the wind currents generated by the totems to travel up to the top of Stormterror’s Lair and speak with Venti. After a brief cutscene where Venti explains the true meaning of the Windblumes, players will complete the quest and be rewarded with 60 primogems and three heroes wit.

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with PS5 and Switch versions in development.
