Fortnite Accidentally Reveals Pulga Locker Bundle | Game Rant

It appears that through a since-removed social media post, Fortnite accidentally revealed a new cosmetic bundle just a little too early. The bundle was based on professional Brazilian player Pulga, and the post revealed it before it was even available in the game’s shop.

For those who somehow don’t know, Fortnite is an extremely popular free-to-play battle royale. It being free-to-play means that developer Epic Games has to rely on selling cosmetics, which are available on a limited time rotation through its in-game shop as well as through its seasonal battle pass. Over the past few months, there have been some incredible cross-overs in Fortnite, with the likes of Chun-Li, Master Chief, Lara Croft, and plenty of others all getting their time to shine in the cosmetic store.

For many players, the highlight of the game is Fortnite‘s competitive tournaments and professional players. A very exclusive series of skins known as the Fortnite Icon Series gives select Fortnite content creators, such as Ninja, their very own custom skins in the game. However, most professional players and content creators have preferred items that they use most frequently and definitely become part of their image in the community. Epic Games frequently highlights many of these players with locker bundles, which group the player’s favorite skin, pickaxe, glider, weapon wrap and emote all into one for fans to purchase. The most recent of these seems to highlight Thales “Pulga” Henrique, a Fortnite esports player currently signed to Team Liquid BR.

Since the Instagram post was quickly deleted, players are anticipating the bundle to become available when the store’s inventory resets. The post did list everything available in the bundle, showing that it will include the Driver pickaxe, Magic Wings glider, Rainbow Rodeo weapon wrap, Scrappy back bling, and the Sparkplug skin. The post came with the caption, “Handpicked by @thaleshenriqucg himself. Grab the Pulga Locker Bundle in the Shop Now.” The error seems to have come from whoever manages the account releasing the post twelve hours earlier than intended, as the Fortnite store resets later tonight.

One of the strange details that has many Fortnite fans questioning the leak is the inclusion of the Sparkplug skin. Sparkplug is most commonly associated with the professional player Clix. It is possible that the skin was combined with the Pulga bundle rather than giving Clix their own locker bundle, but it also could point towards other errors in the removed post. This could also have been a motivator for the post’s hasty removal, if there were errors in what skins were announced to be included in the locker bundle, or if it was attributed to the wrong player. Either way more should be known when the shop resets, and players should be able to expect a new locker bundle available very soon as well as other new additions from Fortnite‘s current season.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
