Over the course of the Windblume festival, Genshin Impact players have had no shortage of events and quests to participate in. While most events appear to be well received by the Genshin Impact player base, the clear fan favorite is the Ballads of Breeze Windsong Lyre Challenges.
In the Ballads of Breeze event, players must complete a series of rhythm-based challenges for various songs in exchange for festival ticket, primogem, heroes wit, and mora rewards. In the event, there are a total of four songs that can be played by the player, with a song unlocking for each new phase of the Windblume Festival.
At the time of writing, all four songs of the event should be unlocked, giving players a much-needed reprieve from the various Festive Anecdotes quests. Each song has three rewards tied to it that are based on the score obtained by the player on specific difficulties. There are three difficulty levels for players to unlock in each song; Normal, Hard and Pro. After a song has been unlocked, players will only have access to the Normal difficulty version and must complete it in order to unlock the Hard and Pro difficulty options.
In order to claim the reward for each of the songs, players must reach a specific score requirement for each of the difficulties on each song. It is worth noting that these score requirements vary for each song, with the songs unlocked in later phases of the festival requiring the player to obtain significantly more points.
After players complete each of the Ballads of Breeze normal challenges, they have the opportunity to purchase their own Windsong Lyre for 280 Tour Tickets. Unlike the Collab Coupons, which are obtained from the Peculiar Wonderland challenges, the Tour Tickets are only obtained by completing Ballads of Breeze, Bullseye Balloons, or Floral Freefall challenges.
Once players have purchased their own Windsong Lyre, they are now able to freely access the instrument outside the event. Unlike the Ballads of Breeze challenges which direct players on what notes to play, when players access the Windsong Lyre through the Gadget inventory tab, they will notice that the screen consists of music notes that allow them to compose their own music. It is important to note that because the Windblume Festival is a limited-time event, players must claim the Windsong Lyre from the store before the event concludes on April 5th.
While there is currently no sheet music that players can obtain in-game, fans are hard at work with song guides ranging from Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up to the Evangelion anime opening. While the Windblume Festival may be ending soon, the Windsong Lyre is bound to make queuing for domains far more entertaining in the future.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with PS5 and Switch versions in development.
