Artist Imagines The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as a Polly Pocket

There are very few who can imagine combining The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with Polly Pocket, but that is the creativity that lives inside of the gaming community. Zelda fans, in particular, tend to share truly remarkable pieces of art, and perhaps that is because the games themselves allow for such freedom of expression.

One of the magical elements of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the creativity in gameplay that it provides. From exploring every nook and cranny and collecting every item in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to taking down Calamity Ganon right from the start with no resources, the game allows for total freedom. The options are quite endless and the game’s choices have opened the door to creativity outside of the game as well, as artists have become inspired. And countless Zelda fans have shared their work thanks to Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda series has long been known to be one of the more artistically beautiful in gaming. Especially with the series celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, many fans are sharing artwork for Zelda recently, as one fan recently shared pixel art for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for example. The most recent example is very unique and creative, as one artist managed to shove the Breath of the Wild universe into the miniature world of Polly Pocket.

Twitter user @evergreenqveen recently tweeted a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Polly Pocket piece of artwork that is rather breathtaking. For those who recall, Polly Pocket was a miniature toy set inside of a collapsable pocket. There was a mini world inside of the toy itself, and the artists recaptures this with the Breath of the Wild Polly Pocket.

The Polly Pocket has a Shrine, a comfortable-looking indoor house with books and more, Koroks, a waterfall, a sword, and even a cooking pot to heat up delicious meals in Breath of the Wild. This Polly Pocket seems to have just about everything a mini-Link would need to survive.

There is something adorable about smaller versions of things, as even a recent record-breaking mini Nintendo 64 mod caught the eye of many onlookers based on its appearance more than its usability. In the case of a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Polly Pocket, it may be a little too good to be true. That being said, the imagery that this artist created is remarkable and it is another reminder that Nintendo’s creativity and artistic approach often sets the table for inspiration for others.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now for Switch and Wii U.
