Bravely Default 2 is the newest installment in the Bravely franchise. Unlike Bravely Second: End Layer which was the direct sequel to Bravely Default, this game features a brand new set of characters and a new vibrant story. Players who are interested in this franchise will have no problem getting into it.
Players who have spent a considerable time playing the game are aware of the difficulty of finding and killing the Wiki-Wiki bird. The bird has an appeal because once it is killed it grants the player a ton of experience points. This monster is unlike the usual high-risk high-reward rare spawn. In fact, if anything, this monster stands out from the rest because of how annoying it is to kill.
Unlike typical special monsters, players can not search in specific locations to find the Wiki-Wiki. In fact, the only way to encounter this bird is when it approaches the player of its own volition. It is highly recognizable with its blue and green feathers shining in contrast to other enemies. The important thing to note about the wiki-wiki bird is that it does not appear alone. It will only appear alongside a group of enemies.
The bird is not only an annoying monster because of its low spawn chance and mob mentality. It is also highly evasive and will dodge most of the attacks thrown at it. To make matters way worse, the only skill it has is escape. This means that players effectively have one round of combat before the bird will run away. This makes defeating it a chore. If one wants to take that bird down for that huge chunk of XP, try these tips. The following are some of the things the players can do to increase their chances of killing the bird.
Players can use the examine feature to see their enemies’ vulnerability and stats. To start, you can examine enemies by going to the misc abilities tab while combating a character who has a freelancer job. In this tab, you will want to find an ability called Examine. This will enable the player to inspect their opponents so that they can strategically plan ahead. This can be useful in order to kill the bird. Apart from this, players should give the following a try.
As the bird has a high evasion stat, the player should seek to enhance the accuracy of their attacks in the hopes to land a hit. This can be done through buffs and items.
Some attacks have 100% accuracy, do a considerable amount of damage, and might even leave behind some buffs once landed. This is perhaps the best way to kick it in.
These attacks are weaker than Special Attacks but they do offer 100% accuracy. So these can be utilized as an additional topping over other attacks!
Try to ignore all the other enemies and charge all of your attacks at the Wiki Wiki bird instead. Do this with the hopes of killing the bird before it tries to flee.
