After a month of build-up, Behaviour Interactive is debuting its All-Kill chapter for Dead by Daylight today, bringing a fresh killer and survivor to the popular online horror for $6.99. The DLC’s release comes alongside the debut of the game’s colorblind mode, which will bring the accessibility option to the game after months of requests from the community.
To celebrate All-Kill, an official trailer has debuted over on the Dead by Daylight Twitter account, depicting the game’s new K-Pop villain The Trickster in a colorful anime style. The promo acts as a stylish overview of the character’s backstory and abilities, seeing him torture victims and use their screams in his music.
For those who missed his debut over on the Public Test Build, The Trickster is primarily a ranged killer, using throwing knives to down opponents from afar. While he can launch these projectiles in quick succession, the setback is that players must continuously replenish them via nearby lockers, forcing them to conserve ammo as they stalk their prey. He also has a bat for close-quarter combat, the ability to block escape routes, and can expose players while carrying incapacitated victims. The game’s new survivor is called Yun-Jin Lee and is The Trickster’s former music producer. She comes with the Self-Preservation, Fast Track, and Smash Hit perks, making her an efficient survivor with plenty of useful traits.
Colorblind mode is another huge addition to the game and one players have been requesting for months now. As detailed back in January, the setting will bring options for players afflicted by deuteranopia, tritanopia, and protanopia colorblindness, changing visual cues such as the game’s scratch marks and auras. Behaviour Interactive also reveals that chat filters have been added, making for another crucial option for players hopping into online games.
Finally, the arrival of All-Kill will bring more customization options for already existing characters, with a press release from Behaviour Interactive revealing the Seoul Sights Collection. The new line of in-game cosmetics will bring Korean streetwear to certain survivors, with Dwight Fairfield, Adam Francis, Feng Ming, Felix Richter, and Elodie Rakoto all getting new looks. Both The Trickster and Yun-Jin Lee will also be kitted out with fresh attires thanks to the Seoul Sights Collection, with the former getting the Cut Thru U costume and the latter getting the Seoul Socialite outfit. The update appears to be a considerable new addition to the popular game and is sure to get a lot of fans back onboard for some tense multiplayer horror action.
Dead by Daylight is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
