美國人權報告：北京摧毀香港自治、新疆出現種族滅絕

美國國務院發表2020年度的《全球人權報告》，涵蓋近200個國家和地區，指去年全球人權狀況惡化。

其中關於中國部分，報告指過去一段時間，香港發生的連串事件，顯示北京正有系統地，摧毀香港的政治自由和自治，形容港人已不能透過自由和公平的選舉，選出代表自己的政府。

至於新疆人權狀況，報告首次明文指出，在新疆發生了種族滅絕和反人類罪行，除了有超過100萬維吾爾人及少數族裔被法外拘留，更首次提到有另外200萬人接受日間的再教育培訓。
