In Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, players can level each of their skills just by using them. Chopping lumber in Olive Town, for example, will level a player’s Lumbering skill. And leveling all of these types of skills can have an additional benefit: the earning of medals.
As player’s customized Olive Town avatar continues to play the game, they can earn titles by completing various tasks and leveling up their skills, using tools, and other in-game activities. Each of these Skill titles, Tool titles, Animal titles, and other titles have levels of completion that give a variety of rewards. Some of these rewards will include medals, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
All the skill titles in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town have several possible levels. While some of these skills can be leveled up to nine, usually only the first few levels give Bronze-level medals. Any level beyond those listed below will earn players silver or gold medals instead, or a different kind of reward all together.
- Logger – The first 3 levels.
- Reaper – The first 3 levels.
- Miner – The first 3 levels.
- Harvester – The first 3 levels of harvesting fodder in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town will get players a bronze medal.
- Fisher – The first 3 levels.
- Communication – The first 2 levels.
- Drainer – The first 3 levels.
- Cultivator – There is only one level, and it gives a Bronze Medal.
- Orchardist – All 3 levels.
- Livestock Breeder – The first 3 levels.
- Chef – The first 3 levels.
- Beekeeper – There is only one level, and it gives a Bronze Medal.
- Rich Farmer – Ship 10,000g worth of total items – Earns 5 Bronze Medals
- Summer Jamboree Attendee – Earns 3 Bronze Medals
- Camera Hobbyist – Take photos of wild animals – Earns 5 Bronze Medals
- Egg Hunt Attendee – Earns 3 Bronze Medals
- Money Maker – make 10,000g in one single day – Earns 1 Bronze Medal
- Nice To Meet You – Own a pet – Earns 5 Bronze Medals
- Pet Derby Attendee Award – Take that pet to the Pet Derby – Earns 3 Bronze Medals
Once players go back into the Olive Town Hall, interact with the green mailbox, and claim the medals for their titles, they might be wondering what all that work was for. Once they have these coveted medals, players can sell them back to the town for a little extra cash. The values of each of the medals is as follows:
- Bronze – 100g
- Silver – 500g
- Gold – 1000g
Hopefully as the game continues to grow with the addition of the content for the season pass for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, players will have even more titles and rewards to look forward to.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is out now on the Nintendo Switch.
