Capcom has released a table showing the output resolution and framerate for Resident Evil Village on consoles.
Below you can have a look at the resolutions you can expect on consoles and Staid for Resident Evil Village.
As you can see in the table below, you can expect 4K/60 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X. When ray-tracing is turned on though, the framerate drops to 45 fps.
On Xbox Series S, the game will run in 1440p at 45 fps, while Xbox One X is 1080p at 60 fps. When set to high resolution, the latter drops to 30 fps. Xbox One players can expect the game to run at 900p/30 fps.
PlayStation 4 Pro players will note 1080p/60 fps is listed, and with high resolution enabled, it runs in 4K at 30 fps. On Playstation 4 the game runs at 900p/45 fps.
With Stadia, you can expect 1080p/60 fps or 4K/60 fps. It’s worth noting that 4K is upscaled using dynamic resolution.
Yesterday, during the Resident Evil Village showcase, we were given a new look at the game, and it was revealed that Mercenaries mode would make a return. Capcom also let us know about the next demo coming to consoles, PC, and Stadia.
We also found out that Resident Evil 4 is getting the VR treatment for Oculus Quest 2, the Netflix CGI film Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will air in July, and that a Resident Evil cross-over with Dead by Daylight was in the works for June.
