Halo Infinite will support multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression between PC, Xbox Series X/S

Halo: Infinite

Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Infinite will support multiplayer cross-play and cross-progression when it releases later this year, as everyone assumed it would.

This means that if you’re playing on PC, you can play with others on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

It also means that your multiplayer customization and progress will follow you across all platforms.

Microsoft said it has been working with the PC community to ensure the game offers a “premier PC experience,” and will include features such as support for ultrawide and super ultrawide screens, triple keybinds, a wide variety of advanced graphics options, and more.

Halo Infinite was initially set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X/S in November 2020, but it was pushed into 2021 after a less-than-stellar gameplay showcase in July last year.

The title now has a fall 2021 release attached to it, but it looks like but word on the street is we could expect it in November.
