Halo Infinite is back. During Microsoft and Bethesda’s E3 2021 presentation, Halo Infinite got a new trailer – and it showed off more about what we can expect from the campaign.
As part of today’s Xbox Bethesda Games Showcase, we got treated to some exciting new content from Halo Infinite. The highly-anticipated game is one of Microsoft’s big releases, so it was great to see it return today.
The new trailer reveals that Cortana has been deleted, and replaced by a new – currently unnamed – AI.
The first free-to-play multiplayer season, as well as the game’s campaign, will launch together ‘this holiday’.
As per Microsoft, “the legendary Halo series returns with free-to-play multiplayer service and the most expansive Master Chief campaign yet”.
Halo Infinite was initially set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X and S in November 2020 but was bumped back to 2021 after a less-than-stellar gameplay showcase last July. The title now has been moved from its fall 2021 release date to a ‘holiday’ window.
