25 4 月, 2020 Alex Smith 0

The Kōkua Festival is back and bigger than ever before. Held in celebration of music and environmental awareness between 2004 and 2010, getting to the festival previously meant having to find a way to get down to Honolulu. However, Kōkua Festival 2020 is bringing the event worldwide with a livestream that’s set to be hosted right from Jack Johnson’s front porch later today.

Today’s livestream is set to last for two hours and will feature live performances from musicians like Ben Harper, G.Love, Ziggy Marley, Jack Johnson of course, and several others. You’ll even be treated to home cooking lessons from some of Hawaiʻi’s top chefs, Ed Kenney and Mark Noguchi.

The festival has always served as a fundraiser for the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports environmental education in schools and communities of Hawaiʻi. Donations made during the livestream will benefit not only the foundation but also local COVID-19 relief efforts across the state.

Samsung’s The Frame 4K TV is a work of art on sale from $760 today only

25 4 月, 2020 Alex Smith 0

TVs all kind of look the same these days, and not in a good way. They add a lot of visual clutter to a room, particularly when not in use, and with some of the sizes they come in these days, they really dominate the room they are in. That’s a problem Samsung set out to solve with its The Frame. Instead of being a blank black slab, it’s a 4K UHD TV set that, when not in use, transforms itself into a work of art and today only Woot has select factory reconditioned models on sale starting at $759.99.

Though these TVs aren’t brand new, they’ve each been inspected directly by Samsung to ensure they’re in like new condition and properly working. Samsung even includes a 90-day warranty with the purchase. Log in with an Amazon Prime membership for free shipping, or start a free 30-day trial.

The unique feature of this set is its Art Mode. When you aren’t using the TV, it basically becomes the frame of a work of art (hence the name). You can choose your favorite art, even buy some of the on…

Social distancing measures have us all going insane, and with live sports cancelled for the foreseeable future, it’s a bit of a bore to be stuck at home and unsure of what to watch. Thankfully, musicians spanning all genres are keeping the public entertained with a variety of online shows and performances that you wouldn’t get a chance to experience otherwise. Some artists are really going all-out with these live events, and Post Malone is the next big star with a show you don’t want to miss.

This show will be a bit different from most of Post Malone’s performances, and that’s not because it’s solely available online. It’s actually a tribute to the legendary rock band Nirvana, and Post is set to perform both hits and fan favorites from the group during the show.

The concert will be available for free on Post Malone’s YouTube channel, so you can tune in from the device of your choice with ease.
