An update to users on OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 has been performing full data wipes on some OnePlus 8/8 Pro devices.
OnePlus has confirmed that this is because some users are accidentally receiving a ‘Stable’ update over the Open Beta 3.
OnePlus is advising users to do a full backup and to check if the OTA is indeed an Open Beta.

Scrolling screenshots are finally coming to Android…via Chrome?

Stock Android is getting a ‘Long Screenshot’ feature before Android 12.

Scrolling screenshots may not have made the final cut on Android 11, but the feature may at least come to the Chrome Android app.
“Long Screenshot” is still in its early development stages and can be found as an experimental flag.

These chips are designed to bring Gigabit speeds to pocket-sized mesh Wi-Fi 6 routers.
Partner brands like Xiaomi, Belkin, and TP-Link have announced that their future products will be using the new Qualcomm chipsets.

Qualcomm has officially announced the Immersive Home Platform, which includes four new chipsets designed for mesh Wi-Fi systems. With a modular architecture, these chipsets bring improved Gigabit wireless speeds to different mesh router form factors, including ones “as small as the palm of the hand.”

The goal is to advance Wi-Fi 6 and 6E coverage while making the transition easier and more accessible than before. In other words, not only do the new chipsets promise smaller form factors, but they also allow for manufacturers to create more affordable mesh Wi-Fi systems.
