Want to learn about the OnePlus 8T? Here’s everything we know (so far)

27 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

Here’s what OnePlus is working on for the second half of 2020.

Despite ongoing world events, 2020 has still been a pretty great year for Android phones — and it’s only going to get even better. Looking ahead towards the coming months, one of the releases we’re most excited about is the OnePlus 8T.

If you’ve been following OnePlus for a while, you know that it doesn’t settle with just one major release per year. Instead, we’re often treated to two — one in the first half of the year and another during the second half. We got the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro back in April, and likely around September/October, we should see their successors in the form of the OnePlus 8T and 8T Pro.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about the phones, but if you’re looking for all of the latest available info, you’ve come to the right place. Without further ado, let’s talk all things OnePlus 8T!

25 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

If you’re hoping to find the very best Fitbit Charge 3 band for your tracker, the good news is that there’s no shortage of options to choose from. As you know, this fitness tracker packs a lot of features and tech into a small, affordable package. The bands you get by default look good, but you can really change up the Charge 3’s entire aesthetic with the right replacement bands. Here are our favorites!

Just like the original

Hamile Sport Band

Staff pick

Hamile has essentially recreated the default Fitbit Charge 3 watch band, but it’s offering it in a lot more colors and selling it for considerably less than the legit Fitbit one. The band is made out of eco-friendly TPU, won’t irritate your skin, and is both soft and lightweight. In regards to colors, there are a lot to choose from — 20, to be exact.

My personal favorite band for the Charge 3 is this woven one that’s made by Fitbit itself. The fabric material that’s used …

The Pixel 4a is here, and we’ve rounded up everything you need to know

24 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

It’s here — it’s finally here.

To put things nicely, the road to the Pixel 4a has been a long one. The phone was originally slated to launch back in May during the Google I/O developer conference, but thanks to everything going on in the world, Google had to hit the 4a with delay after delay.

It’s now August 2020, and at long last, the Pixel 4a has arrived. It’s a lot like the Pixel 3a before it, but it upgrades a few key specs, gets a more modern design, and costs even less. That’s a recipe for success if we’ve ever heard one, and it means there’s a lot to talk about.

From full device specs, our review, or anything else in between, here’s everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 4a!

Everything we know (so far) about the Google Pixel 5

21 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

Fifth time’s the charm?

If there’s one way we could describe the Pixel 4, it would be “frustrating.” Google made a lot of smart moves with the phone, notably its phenomenal cameras and ultra-fast face unlock, but inexcusably bad battery life held it back from being an easy recommendation. As you might guess, this has left us eager to see how things can be improved for the Google Pixel 5.

Using the Pixel 4 is a wonderful thing, but there’s no getting around the compromises required to use it as a daily driver. All the Pixel 5 needs to do in order to be a great phone is to give us the same Pixel 4 experience, use a reasonably-sized battery, and add an ultra-wide camera.

Is that what’s happening? Read on to find out everything we know so far about the Google Pixel 5!

Google Pixel 5 will have a Snapdragon 765G, 90Hz display, ultra-wide camera

21 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

Here’s your early look at Google’s upcoming Pixels.

What you need to know

Following new renders of the Pixel 5, we can reveal more hardware details about Google’s upcoming phones
The Pixel 4a 5G will have a 6.2-inch display and the Pixel 5 measures in at 6-inches.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor will power both phones.

Google’s Pixel 4a has already won our hearts as one of the best Android values of 2020, but as Google hinted at when the 4a was announced, it’s not the only Pixel coming this year. We know the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will be released in the coming months, and today, we’ve obtained more info on the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G from people familiar with Google’s upcoming phones.

Let’s start with display sizes, which looks to be one of the more interesting aspects of this release. The Pixel 5 will ship with a 6-inch display and the Pixel 4a 5G gets a slightly larger 6.2-inch one, but neither phone is all that large by today’s standards. They are both bigger than the 5….

17 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

Motorola is one of the oldest and most recognizable phone brands in the world, and while it may not have the same dominance in the market that it once did, the company still kicks out some truly excellent products. If your heart is set on one of these solid devices, here are the best Motorola phones that are out right now.

Best of the bunch

Moto G Power

Staff Pick

When it comes to the best Motorola phones, the Moto G Power is the way to go. Motorola’s G-series has always been about delivering quality phones at great prices, and the G Power is an exceptional example of that goal. The star of the show is the 5,000 mAh battery, offering up to three days of use per charge. Rounding out the experience is a great 6.4-inch Full HD+ display, reliable performance thanks to the Snapdragon 665, and a trio of rear cameras that are a ton of fun to use.

These are the best Android phones for playing Fortnite

13 8 月, 2020 Joe Maring 0

Fortnite is an intense game that needs a pretty capable Android phone to run it properly. A multiplayer match involving up to 100 unique players is bound to push a phone to its limit, but these phones are sure to run those matches without any hiccups. The OnePlus 8 Pro is our favorite pick with its huge display, and specs that are better than some computers that are used to run Fortnite.

Best Overall: OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus has worked with Fortnite creator Epic Games to run the game at 90Hz — which translates to a silky smooth 90fps — on OnePlus phones like the OnePlus 8 Pro. And with at least 8GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 865 chipset both delivering enough memory and processing power for great gaming performance, your phone will never overheat or feel sluggish while playing Fortnite.

OxygenOS continues to deliver a simple and speedy software experience that allows for customization, including the Fnatic gaming mode, which offers fine controls for avoiding distractions while ga…
