Last year, we saw major price drops on several of the best Chromebooks, including $100 off the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 2-in-1 Laptop and $200 off the Dell Chromebook 3100 2-in-1, which is a great device for students.

This year, some impressive Black Friday deals have already begun, mostly at Best Buy — where the retailer is promising to refund you the difference if the price drops lower after you buy it between now and Black Friday. So if you want to relax and eat leftover turkey over Thanksgiving weekend instead of hunched over a keyboard, now seems like a great time to snag a deal.

Verizon actually has a couple of deals you could take advantage of if getting the Pixel 6 for free is something you want. For example, you can pre-order the Google Pixel 6 now, then trade in your old phone and get a promotional credit worth up to $700. That’s the full cost of the Pixel 6, which means you’d essentially be getting it for free. Verizon requires you to sign up for a 24-month or 30-month contract, so the $700 for your trade-in would be applied over the course of that time. You can also apply the trade-in credit to the Pixel 6 Pro if you prefer, which would cover $700 of the 6 Pro’s $900 price.

Here’s a sale that reminds us of the Amazon deals of yesteryear. The Fire HD 8 32GB tablet is down to $59.99 today. You can get that savings in black, white, plum, and twilight blue. The tablet, which is a brand new version just introduced this year, normally sells for $90. It has only dropped this low twice before, and both of those sales expired quickly. Expect the same here.
