What should I do when my PS4 controller keeps disconnecting?

30 10 月, 2020 Kelly Peirce 0

Best answer: The first step is to resync your controller. At the very least if you can resync the controller, it should grant you control long enough to save your game before resetting your system. After that, there are a few different things to try.

A solid connection: Anker 2-Pack, 6ft Nylon Braided Micro USB Cable with Gold-Plated Connectors ($15 at Amazon)
Replacement if needed: DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers for PlayStation 4 (From $65 at Amazon)

Why is this happening?

The most likely reason you are losing connection between your PlayStation 4 and the controller is that you have Gremlins. Annoying little creatures who love to destroy technology certainly makes a better story than wireless interference, bad firmware or simple wear and tear from use. But no matter which little annoyance is causing your controllers to disconnect, there’s a few tricks to do in order to find out how to fix your PS4 controller from not connecting.

Is it worth it to get a PS4 Pro in 2020 before the PS5 release?

21 9 月, 2020 Kelly Peirce 0

Best answer: This depends heavily on if you’re planning on buying a PS5 at launch. If you are considering getting a PS5 as soon as it launches, getting a PS4 Pro right now doesn’t make much sense. However, if you’re looking to wait, the PS4 Pro is a great option. A lot of games will be released on both new and old consoles at the beginning of the new generation, so you won’t miss out.

Price will drop: PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB ($400 at Amazon)
A new generation: PlayStation 5 (See PS5 at Amazon)
Go all digital: PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (See PS5 Digital Edition at Amazon)

Enjoy tons of games now

With the PS5 launching in just a couple of months, investing in a current-generation console should only be done if you’re content with waiting a bit for the next-gen platforms. If you weren’t able to secure a PS5 preorder or would rather wait for more games to release, the PS4 Pro is a great option, as there’s tons of incredible games to play on the system now, with more planned, includi…
