Unofficial Club Penguin server gets axed by Disney after it’s found full of “penguin e-sex”
Remember Club Penguin? It was successor to the online kids game throne after the Neopets craze of my own childhood. Disney Interactive shut down the kiddie MMO back in 2017 but fan clones have lived on. The unofficial Club Penguin Online is now going offline after it was found to be full of explicit messages […]
The Waylanders story trailer dishes out a royal rebuke and some lore
Let’s bask in some RPG rays before the week’s out, shall we? The Waylanders is an upcoming adventure spanning two time periods set to the tune of Celtic folklore. It’s a party-based RPG, part of why it calls itself inspired by the likes of Baldur’s Gate and Dragon Age: Origins. Other similarities seem to be […]

Things have been quiet in Anthem land ever since BioWare confirmed that they were reinventing the ill-received sci-fi game. It’s still not the best Fallout game on the block, but it’s not someplace you’d be utterly embarrassed to invite your mates. To that end, Bethesda are running a free-to-play weekend starting this Thursday. Now that […]
Super Mega Baseball 3 is up to bat today with a launch and a demo
Super Mega Baseball 3 is up to bat today—by which I mean it’s released—and oh my do these guys have some thighs. The third iteration of hyper turbo home runs is the “deepest on-field simulation yet,” say Metalhead Software. If you’re looking to take a test jog around the ballpark, there’s a demo available to […]
PUBG will start pitting you against bots if it judges your skills lacking
Yup, it’s happening. Bots are going to be joining your Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds matches—but only if you need some extra target practice. PUBG Corp say that bot opponents have been a “controversial topic” for the battle royale but that they think the widening skill gap between veteran players and the new chaff demands an easier entry […]
