Preview: Heroes of the Dark offers a lot for RPG Android players

30 10 月, 2021 Matt Shore 0

Heroes of the Dark throws in a lot of features, but balances them surprisingly well.

One of the biggest strengths of mobile RPG Heroes of the Dark is how well it ties together and balances its many different ideas. On the surface, Gameloft’s new horror-themed game appears to be juggling far too much at once, its base-building mechanic at odds with the hero collecting, its multiple currencies, and resources clashing with the simplicity of sending your heroes into battle. This is not the case, however, as not only does each mechanic work well together, each element of the game offers something that keeps you entertained. The game also runs very well on Android devices, its stability and smoothness remarkable considering its size.

Renovations

Heroes of the Dark is set in the fictional land of Tenebris, one that has been taken over by the ominous-sounding High Council. The player is tasked with taking it back using your horror-themed heroes, and there are many different parts of the…

5 features we want to see in Battlefield Mobile

16 10 月, 2021 Matt Shore 0

These features are a must for Battlefield Mobile to feel authentically Battlefield.

With EA set to release a mobile version of Battlefield next year, it is surprising that there are so few details about it. While there are screenshots available as well as a leaked playtest, fans are eager to learn how the mobile version of the beloved shooter will compare to previous releases.

EA will want to make Battlefield Mobile feel as close to the console and PC games as possible, which has worked well in the past with competition, like Activision and Call of Duty Mobile. However, with developer Industrial Toys mostly taking the reins from DICE, as well as a fanbase largely unsatisfied with the changes observed during the Battlefield 2042 beta, it’s unclear what features will be present in the mobile release and how closely it will resemble the Battlefield fans love. We think we know what needs including though. Here are five features we want to see in Battlefield Mobile.

10 10 月, 2021 Matt Shore 0

Controller giving you problems by not syncing up to your PlayStation correctly? Luckily, DualShock 4 controllers are made so that players can resync their controllers with extreme ease, thanks to a tiny hole on the back of the controller. So if your controller isn’t connecting, this is the best way to try and fix it, barring the use of a USB cable all of the time because no one wants to be tethered to their console when they don’t need to be.

Make gaming and chatting easier with a PS4 or PS5 compatible keyboard

5 10 月, 2021 Matt Shore 0

So, you want a keyboard to use with your PS4 or PS5. If you’re going to use it with games, know that most PS4 games only support keyboards for sending messages to other players in-game, not as an alternative controller. Because of this, you should probably save your money and don’t go all-out on a fancy mechanical gaming keyboard. A compact or lightweight keyboard can sit next to you on the couch while you play games and is just as easy to pull into your lap for a quick message. Here are some of the best PS4 keyboards (that also work with PS5) you can get right now.

Will controller support be available on Battlefield Mobile?

1 10 月, 2021 Matt Shore 0

Best answer: Despite Battlefield Mobile currently being playtested in Indonesia and the Philippines with gameplay footage leaking online, there’s no concrete news of controller support. However, Call of Duty Mobile does feature controller use, so it’s fairly safe to deduct that Battlefield Mobile will follow suit to stay competitive with its nearest rival.

Why so sure?

With Call of Duty Mobile seeing massive success since its launch, it makes sense that EA would keep tabs on its direct competitor and implement some popular features into its game. Currently, COD Mobile supports the PS4 and Xbox One controllers and third-party offerings, though some functionality may be reduced. A popular option for both casual and hardcore shooter fans, controller support would likely be a consideration for EA, at the very least, the successful implementation on COD mobile being a clear reason for its inclusion.

There is other evidence, too, with Battlefield Mobile targeting the same demographic …
