HBO has officially ordered a series based on The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part 2.
The series is being written by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.
It’s being co-produced between PlayStation Productions, Word Games and Naughty Dog.

While we’ve known for some time now that a show based on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us was being written for HBO, today we learned via press release that HBO has given the green light to production.

Craig Mazin, creator and writer of HBO’s Chernobyl, and Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us and vice president of Naughty Dog, are co-writing the show. Carolyn Strauss of HBO, Evan Wells from Naughty Dog and Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan from PlayStation Productions are all executive producers for the show. Every month, the NPD Group releases information on the best-selling games, game consoles and accessories across all video game platforms in the United States. Today is N7 Day, an annual celebration of all things Mass Effect.
BioWare and Electronic Arts announced the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition remaster collection today.
Additionally, Studio GM of BioWare Casey Hudson confirmed that a new Mass Effect game is officially in development by a “veteran team.”

While the announcement of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition remaster coming in Spring 2021 is some of the biggest news for N7 Day, it wasn’t the only thing BioWare had to share. Studio GM Casey Hudson confirmed that a new Mass Effect game is being developed by a “veteran team.” You can read his full statement below.

The Demon’s Souls PS5 remake is almost here and with no warning, PlayStation has shared an impromptu State of Play presentation with 12 minutes of Demon’s Souls gameplay. This new PS5 footage is narrated by Gavin Moore, creator director of the game at Sony Japan Studio.

We’ve now had multiple gameplay trailers, insight into the rerecorded soundtrack and confirmation of how there’s no sixth archstone. Enemy AI has been kept completely intact while bugs have been fixed and the number of healing items players can hold has been slightly tweaked.
