The annual event for all things Blizzard won’t be held this year.

BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment’s annual event, won’t be held in 2020.
This decision was reached after Blizzard evaluated the state of the world with the ongoing pandemic.
There may however be a replacement event sometime in early 2021.

Another big event in 2020 is being canceled. Today, Blizzard Entertainment announced that BlizzCon 2020 is canceled due to the the state of the world and the ongoing pandemic. While this news will certainly be disappointing to Blizzard fans, it certainly isn’t surprising, with other events in 2020 such as GDC, E3 and others all being canceled. Meanwhile, Gamescom 2020 has shifted to an all-digital presentation.

The Last of Us Part II is not available on the PlayStation Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates storefronts.
According to PlayStation Support, this is because it has been banned by the “competent authorities” in charge.
The Last of Us Part II is set to release on June 19, 2020.

While The Last of Us Part II is just a few weeks away from release, it appears that it won’t be available in every PlayStation storefront around the world. As spotted by VG247, Reddit user Ghostechful got in touch with PlayStation Support, who stated that the game was not available on the Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates storefronts because it “…is banned by the competent authorities of the country.”

At the Game Awards 2019, we got our first look at in-engine footage for a PlayStation 5 game, Godfall. Developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Publishing, Godfall is a new IP, set in a world of knights and realms of magical elements. Square Enix will stream Outriders gameplay on May 28.
This stream is the start of a new monthly broadcast for Outriders.
These broadcasts will show off the gameplay, world, classes and more.
Outriders is still scheduled to release sometime in Holiday 2020.

If you’ve been eager for another look at Outriders from People Can Fly and Square Enix, you won’t be waiting much longer. Square Enix has announced the Outriders Broadcast, a monthly stream that’ll show off gameplay, dig into how the different classes work and show off the world.

The first of these Outriders Broadcasts is titled Built for the Core and is coming on May 28 at 9:00 a.m. PT. You can check out a brief trailer for the stream below.

When the broadcast begins, you’ll be able to find it on the Square Enix Twitch channel. According to Bartek Kmita, Creative Director at People Can Fly, the game is still on track, even with the team all working from home.

What you need to know

NVIDIA GeForce Now has added support for another batch of games.
There are 17 titles, including Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition.
There’s also a couple of games being added day-and-date with their release on Steam.

In a press release, NVIDIA shared that 17 more games are getting support for GeForce Now later today. This includes Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, as well as a couple of games like launching directly into the streaming platform. Here’s the full list of games being added:

There’s also a new PSVR bundle that includes the game.
The bundle is set to release alongside Iron Man VR on July 3, 2020.

Borderlands 3 is getting four DLC expansions alongside the free updates.
Two DLC packs have been released and the third has been revealed today.
It’s called Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption and is releasing on June 25.
As you might guess, it’s themed entirely around westerns.

Borderlands 3 first released back in September 2019 and the team at Gearbox Software has been busy working on DLC, both paid and free. Two major DLC packs have been released so far and while the previous DLC took players to a realm of cults and tentacles to celebrate a wedding, the next one up is very different.

Mojang Studios’ sales titan just keeps on going.

Microsoft shared the news today that Minecraft has crossed 200 million copies sold.
Minecraft previously sold 122 million copies as of February 2017.
Yesterday, Minecraft developer Mojang rebranded as Mojang Studios, with plans to expand.
Minecraft Dungeons, a hack-and-slash RPG set in the aesthetic of Minecraft, is set to release on May 26.

Minecraft has been an utter sales juggernaut, selling over 122 million copies back in February 2017. The blocks of cash keep on stacking though, as today Microsoft shared the news that Minecraft has sold over 200 million copies. This even further solidifies Minecraft’s position as the best-selling game of all time, with only Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V even being in the same league at over 120 million copies sold.
