Developed by Mimimi Games and published by THQ Nordic, Desperados III is a prequel to the first Desperados game, following five different characters across a sprawling western landscape filled with town, swamps and deserts. It’s a tactical stealth game, with an isometric viewpoint. The release date has been shared and players can expect to embark on this adventure on June 16, 2020.

NVIDIA GeForce Now is losing Xbox Game Studios titles later in April

More publishers are pulling out of NVIDIA’s streaming service while others double down.

What you need to know

NVIDIA has published a new blog post with multiple updates regarding GeForce Now.
Titles from Xbox Game Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Klei Entertainment will be removed on April 24.
Ubisoft, Epic Games and Bungie remain committed to the service.
NVIDIA is working to bring over 1,500 more games to GeForce Now.

NVIDIA has published a lengthy blog post giving users an update on what to expect over the coming months. For starters, three more publishers are pulling out of the service on April 24: Xbox Game Studios, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Klei Entertainment.

Facebook has released a new Facebook Gaming app for Android.
The app allows users to watch streamers without having to use their computer.
There’s also various games you can instantly play.

While the streamer scene is already fairly packed with YouTube Gaming, Twitch and Mixer, Facebook is continuing to roll out new methods for viewers to check out streamers on Facebook Gaming. Echo is a new hero available in Overwatch.
As of today, Echo is playable on all platforms.
Her abilities allow her to duplicate an enemy power to adapt on the field.

While the new Overwatch hero Echo has been teased for quite some time, she’s finally here! Echo is now playable in Overwatch on all platforms. Her abilities allow her to use a Tri-Shot and Sticky Bombs against foes, while her Ultimate lets her duplicate an enemy ability, giving a thoughtful player the ability to adapte and overcome. PlayStation announces $10 million for indie devs affected by COVID-19

PlayStation is moving to help indie devs and give players some comfort right now.

PlayStation has announced the Play at Home initiative.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey will be free for players to grab soon.
PlayStation is also bringing a $10 million fund for indie developers impacted by the spread of COVID-19.

While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is impacting many across the video game industry, one major publisher is taking steps to help out. PlayStation announced today that it is bringing in a $10 million fund to assist indie developers who are facing difficulties as a result of the pandemic.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan explained that “Independent developers are vital to the heart and soul of the gaming community and we understand the hardships and financial struggles that many smaller gaming studios are facing.” More details on the fund are coming soon.

Wizards of the Coast has opened a new game development studio.
Titled Archetype Entertainment, this new division is heavily staffed with BioWare veterans.
Some of the ex-BioWare staff working at Archetype include names like James Ohlen and Drew Karpyshyn.
The team is working on a multiplatform science-fiction RPG.

Respawn Entertainment’s new Star Wars adventure is busting predictions.

Electronic Arts held its Q3 earnings call with investors.
During the call, Electronic Arts confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has sold around 8 million units.
The company’s predictions have been beaten and revised, now expecting to see the game to sell 10 million copies by March.
