Making an account is super easy in Among Us

Among Us has come a long way since its humble beginnings in 2018 and has since become one of the biggest multiplayer games in recent years. While the simple gameplay and fun social deduction aspects that won over millions remain intact, the game has been updated to meet user requests. In its most recent update, The Airship was added to the game, as well as a new account system.

Some heavy hitters arrive on PlayStation Now.

What you need to know

PlayStation Now’s April update includes Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3, and The Long Dark.
All three games are available to play starting April 6.
Marvel’s Avengers will leave the service on July 5, and Borderlands 3 will leave on Sept. 29.

If multiplayer is your primary interest, then this month’s update should be on your radar, as it features two of the biggest cooperative multiplayer games on PlayStation right now. Among Us’ new map, The Airship, is finally releasing on March 31, according to Among Us developer, InnerSloth. Originally revealed during the Game Awards 2020, the free update will add ladders, an account system used for moderation, and the ability to choose your starting location. And hats, lots and lots of new hats.

The Airship is the fourth map added to Among Us, and is its biggest. In a developer blog, InnerSloth details the hurdles that stalled the release of the map and all of the considerations made to keep every version of the game up to date.

Innersloth launched a new Twitter account dedicated to Among Us.

Indie developer Innersloth has taken to Twitter to tease a new map for its mega-popular game, Among Us, the social deduction multiplayer game inspired by board games like Mafia and Werewolf. Using its brand new Among Us Twitter account, it posted a picture showcasing a new map and a new outfit.

In a follow-up tweet, the account teased more information at the upcoming Game Awards on Dec. 10. This comes hot on the heels of the Game Awards nominee announcements where Among Us scored two nominations — for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Mobile Game.
