How to record a Zoom meeting locally on your desktop

Local recording of Zoom meetings is available both for Zoom Basic (free) and Zoom premium accounts (Pro, Business, and Enterprise). However, local recording is not available on mobile devices (Android or iOS).

Note that the host (the person who starts the meeting) is the only one with the ability to record the call unless the host grants that ability to another participant.

Open the Zoom app on your desktop (I’m using a Mac).
Once you have started or joined a meeting, hover your cursor over the screen and click on the Record button at the bottom of the screen.

YouTube for Android now takes advantage of the Z Flip’s foldable form factor with a new Flex mode.
Google and Samsung collaborated on the optimization effort over the past few months.
The update is rolling out from April 22nd via the Play Store.

YouTube has debuted a new Flex mode for foldables like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Taking advantage of the foldable form-factor, the new design splits the app’s interface into two even sections.

You’ll be able to use the top half to keep consuming content, while the other half can be used for searching for more videos, commenting, and so on. It’s essentially a boosted version of the picture-in-picture mode for regular old slab phones, but one that takes advantage of the more unique form factor the Z Flip has.

More publishers are pulling out of NVIDIA’s streaming service while others double down.

It’s now showing a banner bringing users’ attention to its ongoing promo for Stadia Pro, which offers two months of Stadia Pro for free.
