San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is only two days away and Marvel is ready to get the party started: A random “Dawn of X” teaser image was uploaded to Marvel Entertainment’s Twitter account on July 16 and fans want more details.

“Dawn of X. All Will Be Revealed. Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing Panel at SDCC,” Marvel Entertainment wrote under the weird image, which showed a large red “X” in front of a black background, on Tuesday.

Marvel Comics didn’t provide any more details on the bizarre post and it’s unknown if “Dawn of X” could be a new branding initiative or a title that bears resemblance to the Powers of X and House of X biweekly comic series, Newsarama reported. Jonathan Hickman, the writer of the House of X and Powers of X, also didn’t comment on the puzzling picture.

Fans were also asking several questions on Twitter about “Dawn of X.”

According to SDCC 2019’s Program Schedule, the “Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing” panel will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 1:45 p.m. PDT. Hickman, Marvel editor-in-chief C. B. Cebulski, and other Marvel panelists will be present to discuss the latest news on the House of Ideas.

Will there be a new chapter for the X-Men? We’ll have to wait until SDCC 2019 for more information on this puzzling teaser.
