The Q2 smart wearables market across North America grew by 38% on a yearly basis according to the latest Canalys report. The data shows the total smartwatch sales reached $2 billion for the period.
The leader of the pack is Apple, which saw 2.9 million shipments for the period and holds a 38% market share. Fitbit comes in second with 1.9 million units and a market share of just over 24%.
