Epic Games announced that Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2 will arrive on February 20.
Players can expect to see a ton of changes coming with the new season, although Epic is keeping their lips sealed on just what to look forward to.

Fortnite players around the world had been going crazy over the past couple of weeks, as anticipation for the latest season to arrive had reached a peak. Thankfully for them, the wait is nearly over, as Epic Games has revealed just when to expect the next season of the hit battle royale game.

What you need to know

The latest Fortnite update includes the 2019 Winterfest.
The festive-themed update will include daily gifts for players, a brand new set of challenges, and much more.
The Winterfest is available now, so head out and play!

Fortnite’s fans have been waiting since Thanksgiving for the start of Fortnite’s yearly Winterfest, and today, it finally arrived.

The latest update to Fortnite brings with it the 2019 Winterfest, which Epic promises will include a ton of festive treats, including free daily gifts, new challenges to complete, and much more.

Players can get started by heading into the main menu of the game, where they’ll see a snowflake tab. By clicking on it, they can get to the Winterfest Lodge, which is the main hub of the Winterfest.

Never before seen footage!

What you need to know

The world of Star Wars and Fortnite are once again coming together.
On December 14, J.J. Abrams will be showing off a never-before-seen scene from the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at Fortnite’s Risky Reels location.
The festivities start at 2 PM EST, but players are advised to show up earlier.

Is a Star Wars crossover on the horizon?

What you need to know

Shortly after the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a Star Destroyer appeared in the skies of Fortnite.
Alongside the ship, a brand new outfit – the Stormtrooper – was put into Fortnite’s item shop.
As of now, no other crossover events have been announced.

The world of Fortnite may soon be getting another movie crossover, as shortly after the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a Star Destroyer from the iconic film series appeared in the skies over Fortnite.

Players began to notice the ship sitting just on the horizon of the map around the same time that the Star Wars game launched worldwide. With a brand new season of Fortnite comes brand new challenges, and Chapter 2 has once again changed up the way players will be taking them on. For the recent Dockyard Deal set of missions, one of the challenges for this week will have you scouring one of the games new loading screens for a hidden letter, and making your way to it in the game. This one can be tough if you don’t know where to look, but thankfully we’ve found where to go, so you don’t have to.

Knowing the challenge

First and foremost, this challenge won’t be live until Thursday, October 31, at 9:30 a.m. EST. After that time, you’ll be able to jump in and tackle it, but just know that it won’t be live until the weekly missions go live in Fortnite.

Another crossover event is upon the world of Fortnite, this time with Batman landing in the game. As is the tradition with a new crossover event, some new challenges have been included, and one of them has players searching out and lighting three Bat Signals outside of the in-game Gotham City. Finding the Bat Signals can be a bit tricky, so we’ve narrowed down where you’ll need to focus your attention.

Knowing the challenge

The circumstances surrounding the Welcome to Gotham City challenges are a bit mysterious, as it seems like the Bat Signals are spread quite far throughout the map. Thankfully, you only need to light up three of them, and so far at least four have been found. All you’ll have to do for this challenge is to find the signal, go up to it, and light it.

Another Fortnite crossover is here, this time with the legendary superhero Batman.
Fortnite’s Tilted Town has been made over to look like Gotham City, and has new, Batman-themed items in it for players to try out.
New cosmetic skins, items, and limited-time challenges are available until October 1.
The world of Fortnite continues to get even bigger, as another iconic franchise is set to appear inside the game when Batman and Fortnite crossover. Officially announced on Saturday – which is also Batman Day across the country – Batman is invading the world of Fortnite, with limited-time challenges, cosmetic skins, and even an appearance from Gotham City.

The crossover is now live in the game, and much like past Fortnite crossover events, mostly everything in the item shop revolves around the latest gear. In this case, it’s tons of Batman-themed cosmetics, including multiple Catwoman suits, a Batglider item, and various other cosmetics.

What you need to know

Players have recently found a red balloon floating near a sidewalk drain in Pleasant Park.
Popping the balloon triggers an evil laugh, which is likely hinting at an upcoming crossover with the IT franchise.
With IT Chapter Two releasing this weekend, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the crossover release tomorrow.
The world of Fortnite may soon be getting another movie crossover, as fans and players have started finding evidence that a Fortnite x IT Chapter Two crossover could be in the works.

Things started with players finding a red balloon floating over a sidewalk drain in the game’s Pleasant Park location. Popping the balloon causes a distorted, sinister laugh to play. Along with the balloon, certain data-miners in the Fortnite community have also found the red balloon and laugh inside the game’s files for the upcoming update, lending even more credence to the thought that a crossover is on the horizon.

All the latest goodies from the shop to add to your collection!

The Fortnite Item Shop has updated once again, and players can now hop in and pick up some new gear, including brand new cosmetics, gliders, and other items.

Today’s update welcomes more new items as part of the 14 Days of Summer. Today’s outfits include the Match Point outfit. Along with that is another brand new outfit, Heist. This outfit is similar to the one that was released during Fortnite’s heist game modes, which saw users having to steal jewels and escape.

Alongside the bevy of skins and pickaxes, players can also pick up some random items to add to their arsenal. Today, the Global Axe and Squid Striker harvesting tools are available, alongside the Leviathan outfit and Planetary Probe glider. The Versa and First Strike Specialist outfits are also in the shop, alongside the Studded Axe harvesting tool, the Infernal item spray, and the Disco Fever and Living Large emotes.
