Samsung’s Galaxy S series is always one of the most anticipated smartphone releases year after year. Following a modest upgrade with the S9 series, 2019’s Galaxy S10 lineup shook things up with an all-new Infinity-O design for the display, triple rear cameras, and even a third “budget” model.

In the coming months, it’ll be time for Samsung to take the wraps off of the Galaxy S20 (Samsung’s expected to ditch the S11 name). The phone has big shoes to fill, but knowing Samsung, it’ll be up to the task.

In most cases, the easiest way to take a screenshot on your Chromebook is by using button combinations — whether that be on your Chromebook’s keyboard or with the power and volume buttons.

Starting first with keyboard shortcuts, there are two you’ll want to remember:

Ctrl + []]] to take a screenshot of the entire screen.
Ctrl + Shift + []]] to take a screenshot of a specific portion of your screen.

For the second command, you’ll use your mouse/cursor to select the area of your screen you want to capture. For those times when there’s just a small part of your screen you want to save, it’s quite handy.

What you need to know

OnePlus is holding a press event on January 13 in Shenzhen, China.
The teaser mentions new “screen technology.”
We have no idea what this is referring to, but we’ll learn soon enough.

We’re expecting OnePlus to hold an event in the first half of 2020 to unveil its upcoming OnePlus 8 smartphone, but prior to that, the company is heading to China to talk about new screen tech it’s working on.

The invite in question was recently shared on the Chinese social network Weibo, and it reveals that something is happening on January 13 in Shenzhen. The invite mentions “screen technology” along with a render of a phone display, but that’s about all we have to go on.

What can we expect from this? Honestly, we don’t know.

Arlo is one of the most prominent brands when it comes to smart home security products, and at CES 2020, the company announced its impressive Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera. Along with a bold and distinctive design, the Pro 3 Floodlight Camera stands out as being the first-ever floodlight camera that is set up entirely without wires.

Installing the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera should be a breeze, with Arlo saying it can be easily installed in a “variety of outdoor environments.” The unibody design is immediately eye-catching, but it also manages to look good with just about any home exterior. There is technically a bottom bezel, but it’s only 2.3mm.

CES is always home to all sorts of wild and whacky announcements, and one of the first we’ve seen for 2020 is this gorgeous TV from Samsung that’s completely free on any bezels. Well, there is technically a bezel at the very bottom, but it’s 2.3mm and almost impossible to see.

We don’t currently have a product name for the TV, but there’s already a lot that we know about it. It’s an 8K television that uses a QLED panel and measures in at an impressively thin 15mm. Despite that thinness and the lack of bezel, Samsung’s promising impressive built-in audio.

Vizio SmartCast 4.0 has been announced.
It shortens load times, has a new search experience, and better input switching.
A new Voice Remote is launching this year — the first-ever from Vizio.

So far at CES 2020, Vizio has showcased a new OLED TV and a bunch of soundbars. However, that’s not all the company has up its sleeves. Just as important as those other unveilings, Vizio has taken the wraps off of Vizio SmartCast 4.0.

SmartCast is the platform used to power Vizio’s smart TVs, and the 4.0 update looks to pack quite the punch. In day-to-day use, users will benefit from faster startup and load times, better input switching, and improved responsiveness for remote controls. Finding content to watch is also getting easier, thanks to a “redesigned search experience.”

CES 2020 is steadily going into full-force, and Vizio has come prepared with a heap of new soundbars. There’s a lot to dig into, so without further ado, let’s dive in.

Starting first with the Vizio Elevate, this is the company’s latest flagship soundbar that “showcases a revolutionary design that works on its own, or docks seamlessly with Vizio’s new OLED TV.”

There’s a lot of power packed into the Elevate, including two-way left, right, and center front-facing speakers combined with dual-midbass drivers and passive radiators to top it all off.
