Samsung’s getting into the Lite game.

Every year for the past few years, Samsung’s smartphone release pattern has been pretty predictable. We get the new Galaxy S lineup in the first part of the year, and then around August/September, the latest Galaxy Note is released.

The S10 was incredible. Here’s what Samsung’s doing to improve for 2020.

Samsung’s Galaxy S series is always one of the most anticipated smartphone releases year after year. Following a modest upgrade with the S9 series, 2019’s Galaxy S10 lineup shook things up with an all-new Infinity-O design for the display, triple rear cameras, and even a third “budget” model.

In the coming months, it’ll be time for Samsung to take the wraps off of the Galaxy S11 — or the S20, we aren’t 100% sure about the name. The phone has big shoes to fill, but knowing Samsung, it’ll be up to the task.

Well, it sure is a smartphone.

What you need to know

The first renders for LG’s next flagship, the G9, have been revealed.
We can see that the phone will have quad cameras and a waterdrop notch on its display.
It looks a lot like last year’s G8, though it’s unclear if LG’s hand gestures will return.

Year after year, LG releases a new G-series flagship to try and take some of the market away from the likes of Apple and Samsung. The company’s phones are usually quite solid, though they often are a hard sell compared to better options from its competitors.

Following up on the mixed G8 from 2019, we now have our first renders of what’s expected to be the LG G9. The renders come courtesy of CashKaro and @OnLeaks, and at first glance, it’s hard to tell what the big selling point for the G9 will be.

Dear Google, do this to make Android more awesome.

Officially launched in September 2019, Android 10 has proven to be one heck of a release for Google’s mobile operating system. The addition of a system-wide dark mode is something users have been clamoring for for years, the new gestures are an improvement over Pie’s half-baked attempt, and the revamped permissions are a great step forward for having more control over your data and privacy.

Android 10 may still be fresh in a lot of people’s minds, especially since there are plenty of phones that just got or are still waiting for the update, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start talking about Android 11.

Google typically releases the first developer preview for its new Android version in March, and for Android 10, this is also when the first beta debuted. That means we’re just a few short months away from getting our first look at Android 11, and when it arrives, these are the features we’re the most eager to see.

There are a lot of reasons to like Visible, but one of the biggest has to be its coverage. Visible uses Verizon’s LTE network for its service, meaning you can expect at least decent coverage in just about any part of the U.S.

Verizon blankets almost every nook and cranny of the U.S., but as you venture towards the West, you will find some pockets in Nevada, Montana, and Idaho with no coverage at all. This is typical of all networks, and Verizon actually has the best service in these trickier parts of the country.
