There are a number of different cars that players can obtain in Cyberpunk 2077. The game offers you no shortage of choice when it comes to body type, style and utility. Which car the player wants to use can be based on a variety of factors. With such a variety of types ranging from Economy to Hypercars, players are often spoiled for choice.
Perhaps the most important aspect of a car is it’s top speed. Having a high top speed helps with races, escapes, and when heists go south. It also helps with getting around the massive landscape that is Night City. Here are all the cars in the game based on how fast they’re capable of going.
30 Makigai MaiMai P126 – 119 MPH
The slowest car in the game is by no means coincidentally one of the cheapest at $14 thousand. The Makigai MaiMai P126 can reach a top speed of 119 mph. Enough to get the player from point a to point b faster than on foot.
29 Thorton Galena G240 – 120 MPH
The Thorton Galena G240 that’s your stereotypical Economy car. With four doors, a small trunk, and a top speed of 120 mph it’ll get the job done. $13 thousand for a car is great for players on a budget.
28 Chevillon Emperor 620 Ragnar – 128 MPH
The Chevillon Emperor 620 Ragnar is the slowest Executive car in the game. This SUV is capable of reaching a max speed of 128 mph. It’s almost triple the price of the Thorton at $32 thousand for a marginal increase in speed.
27 Villefort Colombus V340-F Freight – 130 MPH
The Villefort Colombus V340-F Freight is the only Executive vehicle in the game featuring Kitsch styling. Basically a minivan, it reaches a top speed of 130 mph. It costs $19 thousand and is one of the more common vehicles in the game.
26 Thorton Colby CX410 Butte – 137 MPH
The Thorton Colby CX410 Butte is an Economy pickup with a top speed of 137 mph. It costs $43 thousand though a free one is next to the Desert Film Set. Popular with small business owners and gangs looking to move bodies.
25 Thorton Colby C240T – 137 MPH
The Thorton Colby C240T is an Economy station wagon with a Kitsch style. It has a top speed of 137 mph and costs $39 thousand. It’s popular with Nomads and other highway drivers.
24 Archer Hella EC-D I360 – 137 MPH
The Archer Hella EC-D I360 is an Economy Sedan that reaches a top speed of 137 mph. It’s given to the player for free after completing the Prologue. It’s a middle of the road car following the Entropism style.
23 Mahir Supron FS3 – 139 MPH
The Mahir Supron FS3 is a cheap upgrade for marginally better speed than the default car. It has a top speed of 139 mph and costs $16 thousand. Unless the player is going for the quirky aesthetics it’s probably not worth the upgrade.
22 Thorton Colby “Little Mule” – 140 MPH
The Thorton Colby or “Little Mule” is an Economy car with a truck bed. It has a top speed of 140 mph and costs $49 thousand. It’s very popular with Nomads on long hauls and can be upgraded a bit.
21 Thorton Mackinaw MTL 1 – 144 MPH
The Thorton Mackinaw MTL 1 is a pickup that’s self described as not a racing car. It has a top speed of 144 mph with a steep price tag of $128 thousand it’s the fifth most expensive car in the game. It’s a good truck, but in terms of speed to price ratio it’s one of the worst options in the game.
20 Villefort Alvarado “Vato” – 151 MPH
The Villefort Alvarado “Vato” is an Executive Coupe with a top speed of 151 mph. The player can get this car free for completing Beat on the Brat: The Glen. It’s a nice cruising car, but there are faster options.
19 Villefort Cortes V5000 Valor – 151 MPH
The Villefort Cortes V5000 Valor is an Executive Limousine with a top speed of 151 mph. It costs $37 thousand and is popular with politicians, corpos, and wealthy criminals. While not as fast as other cars it has great acceleration.
18 Villefort Alvarado V4F 570 Delegate – 151 MPH
This car is an Executive Coupe with a top speed of 151 mph. It’s the shinier version of the “Vato” and costs $62 thousand. Like the “Vato” it’s quick off the line and is much more luxurious to cruise around in.
17 Chevillon Thrax 388 Jefferson – 151 MPH
The Chevillon Thrax 388 Jefferson is an Executive Limousine that has a top speed of 151 mph. Built with a Neo-Militarism style it costs a rather cheap $17 thousand. It’s well armored at the cost of slow acceleration.
16 Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo – 161 MPH
The Porsche 911 II (930) Turbo is the slowest Sports car in the game at 161 mph. This iconic car is free for completing the side job Chippin’ In. This is the car Johnny Silverhand drives and there’s only a few in existence.
15 Archer Quartz EC-L R275 – 161 MPH
The Archer Quartz EC-L R275 is a compact Sports car with a top speed of 161 mph. It’s priced at $29 thousand. It’s a popular car with wealthier Nomads who use it to chase down city folk who wander out of Night City.
14 Thorton Galena GA40XT “Rattler” – 166 MPH
The Thorton Galena GA40XT “Rattler” is an Economy vehicle that can reach speeds of 166 mph. It’s free for completing the side job These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. This particular car is a fast moving junk heap that’s self-described as a “mobile tetanus trap” in the game.
13 Quadra Turbo-R 740 – 173 MPH
The Quadra Turbo-R 740 is the slowest of the Quadra models and built with Kitsche styling. It has a max speed of 173 mph and costs a steep $129 thousand. It’s a great racing car if players can manage how squirrelly it is on top of the game’s rough driving problems.
12 Thorton Galena “Gecko” – 180 MPH
The Thorton Galena wouldn’t survive in the desert but the Gecko will. It has a top speed of 180 mph and costs $21 thousand. It’s very popular with Nomads and is the fastest Economy vehicle in the game.
11 Quadra Type-66 “Jen Rowley” – 182 MPH
The Quadra Type-66 “Jen Rowley” is a Sports coupe with a top speed of 182 mph. It’s a Kitsch design and costs $58 thousand. This fast car is popular among street racers and edgerunners, and is known for outrunning cops.
10 Quadra Type-66 640 TS – 182 MPH
The Quadra Type-66 640 TS has a max speed of 182 mph. This fast car costs $58 thousand and has a red Kitsche style. It’s the standard Type-66 model and a great car to add to the collection when bored.
9 Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech – 182 MPH
The Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech can reach speeds of 182 mph. It’s a fast muscle car and easily the most iconic vehicle produced by Quadra. This great racing car comes free for completing the side job Sex On Wheels.
8 Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu” – 185 MPH
The Quadra Type-66 “Cthulhu” is a great Sports Coupe with a top speed of 185 mph. It can be bought for $76 thousand or obtained free for completing the side job The Beast In Me. There’s a reason the game describes this car as a “real horror from your worst nightmares”.
7 Quadra Type-66 Avenger – 185 MPH
The Quadra Type-66 Avenger can reach a top speed of 185 mph. It costs $55 thousand for the flashier, beefier model. This model of the Quadra Type-66 comes with better handling which is nice at such high speeds in this RPG.
6 Mizutani Shion MZ2 – 185 MPH
The Mizutani Shion MZ2 can reach top speeds of 185 mph. At a cost of $75 thousand it has great acceleration and handling. It’s a very common car among illegal street races for a reason.
5 Herrera Outlaw GTS – 186 MPH
The Herrera Outlat GTS has a top speed of 186 nudging ahead of many racing cars despite the fact it’s a Hypercar Limousine. It’s built in the Neo-Kitsch style for the super elite and costs $62 thousand. It’s one of the most sought-after limousines in the game.
4 Quadra Type-66 “Javelina” – 189 MPH
The fastest Quadra Type-66 is the Javelina with a top speed of 189 mph. It costs $73 thousand and was built for desert racing. Very popular with high net-worth Nomads it is one of the fastest cars in this great RPG.
3 Rayfield Aerondight S9 “Guinevere” – 190 MPH
The Rayfield Aerondight S9 Guinevere is a Hypercar capable of reaching 190 mph. With no windows and a purple Neo-Kitsch style it’s the most expensive car in the game at $225 thousand. It can beat many built-for-racing models and does it in luxury and style.
2 Mizutani Shion “Coyote” – 199 MPH
The Coyote is a scrappy Sports vehicle that can go toe-to-toe with many Hypercars thanks to its top speed of 199 mph. It costs $115 thousand or can be obtained free by doing the side job Queen of the Highway. It’s the fastest car in the game for harsh desert environments.
1 Rayfield Caliburn – 211 MPH
The Rayfield Caliburn is the fastest car in the game with a top speed of 211 mph. Nothing comes close to this Neo-Kitsch style Hypercar. It costs a staggering $157 thousand or can be obtained for free during the mission Ghost town.
