Bennett is one of Genshin Impact‘s strong four-star characters but is best utilized when focusing on his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Below are the Artifacts and weapons that best highlight Bennett’s abilities.
Unlike the Pyro characters Klee, Diluc, and Xiangling who are typically built as DPS, Bennett is more of a Pyro support character. In Genshin Impact, Bennett’s strength comes from his Pyro Elemental Skill and Burst and is best used when triggering Elemental Reactions with other characters. Bennett’s ultimate provides a healing bonus, but his fully charged Elemental Skill can be catastrophic depending on location because it launches him backward upon impact. Because of this, Bennett used to be an underrated character, but many Genshin Impact players are recognizing his potential as an S-tier support with the right build.
Because Bennett’s strengths rely so heavily on his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, players will want to look for items with Energy Recharge as main or substats, that offer a buff to Pyro Damage, or, most importantly, an increase to Elemental Burst Damage.
As far as Artifacts go, the Noblesse Oblige set is the most effective for Bennett, though it has some flexibility. At 2-piece, it increases Elemental Burst Damage by 20%, and at 4-piece, increases the entire party’s attack output by 20% for 12 seconds after using Bennett’s Elemental Burst. Both of these buffs are excellent for Bennett, but some players opt to use the 2-piece Noblesse Oblige set with other 2-piece sets as well.
The Crimson Witch of Flames set is suitable for any Pyro user with a Pyro DPS build and for Bennett, it’ll increase the damage coming from both his Skill and Burst by 15% at 2-piece. If players want exceptionally quick Energy Recharge rates, the Exile set 2-piece bonus also offers an increase to Energy Recharge rates by 20%. For substats, find Artifacts with Energy Recharge and HP increases, because Bennett’s healing from his ultimate scales with his max HP.
Players will want to mimic similar priorities with Bennett’s weapons by focusing on Energy Recharge weapons. For free-to-play players, the four-star Sacrificial Sword is excellent because of its increase to his Energy Recharge rate but also has a chance to end the Elemental Skill’s cooldown after using it, depending on refinement level. Festering Desire also works well on Bennett.
For Genshin Impact players putting down money on the gacha, aim to pull the Skyward Blade. In addition to its Energy Recharge rate increase, it also has a high base attack.
