Mortal Kombat: Mileena’s 10 Best Fatalities & Brutalities, Ranked

In the words of Mileena, “millions cried out for my return,” and she is right about that. The half-Tarkatan, half-Edenian princess, is one of the most popular characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise. When Mortal Kombat 11 was released, she was nowhere to be seen, but she eventually returned through DLC.

In her many appearances, Mileena has boasted some gory, shocking, and brutal finishers. Over the years, she has gained popularity for multiple reasons, her story, origins, and maniacal nature being huge parts of it. However, given her personality, there are plenty of fatalities and brutalities that she has used over the years that demonstrate just how far Mileena will go to win. It is time to take a look at the moves that combatants should fear. The combination of those teeth and sais should be enough to send anybody running.

10 Sai Stabs

Mileena is well known for her use of sais. The weapon is practically synonymous with her at this point. Therefore, no list concerning Mileena would be complete without a slight focus on her weapon of choice. Introduced in Mortal Kombat II, Mileena started as she meant to go on with two fatalities that would set the tone for her future attacks.

Sai Stabs is exactly as it sounds: the warrior repeatedly drives her sais into the opposition until they are dead. It is brutal to watch. However, the move’s goriness gets taken up a notch as it returns in Mortal Kombat X, this time as a brutality. In this rendition, Mileena stabs her foe so much that she is able to rip out their heart with her sai.

9 Pretty Pretty Princess

In Mortal Kombat, there is a classic brutality in which an opponent has their head knocked clean off, spine still attached, from an uppercut. Of course, Mileena, like all fighters, can perform this move. However, in Mortal Kombat 11, the woman has her own variation of it too.

If Mileena closes the fight with her Flesh Pits combo, she can perform the Pretty Pretty Princess brutality. This sees Mileena kick her opponent’s head off, spine still attached. It serves as a nice alternative to the classic version. Sometimes, it is nice to shake things up a bit. There are only so many times fighters should punch an opponent before switching to kicks.

8 Square Wave Brutality

In Mortal Kombat 11, Mileena has a secret brutality, one that some players may not know about. Mileena has a move known as Square Wave, which sees her fly through the air and collide with her foe, causing damage. However, players can take this up a notch. Should they unlock Square Wave Brutality, the relatively harmless move becomes deadly.

Mileena doesn’t just collide with the enemy anymore, but she goes through them, wrecking her opponent’s upper body. All that is left are two legs and a bloody waist. This is an impressive way to end a fight. Mileena can take the opposition by surprise, destroying them before they can even blink.

7 Face Feast

Mileena is beautiful, that is until she removes her mask and reveals a mouthful of razor-sharp teeth. The femme fatale certainly puts those gnashers to good use in her Face Feast fatality, which Mileena can use in Mortal Kombat X.

The fighter drives her sais into either side of her opponent’s head before brutally tearing it clean off. Following this, Mileena chow’s down, taking several bites of her opponent’s face, tearing it off. Finally, once done with her meal, Shao Khan’s daughter throws the discarded head next to its detached body.

6 Be Mine

When wearing her mask, Mileena can be quite the seductress, given she shares the beauty of Kitana. However, this femme fatale is lethal, as demonstrated by her Be Mine fatality. In 2011’s Mortal Kombat, Mileena chooses to embrace her inner seductress as part of her Be Mine fatality.

Mileena saunters up to her opponent and embraces them after having thrown her sais into their chest. The Flesh Pits creation then promptly rips their head off to take a few bites before throwing it to the floor, moaning in a positive manner as she does so. Mileena brings sexy and terrifying together in a way no one else can.

5 Nail Shooter

This entry is two-fold, as Nail Shooter serves as a fatality in some games, such as Mortal Kombat Gold and Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and as a brutality in Mortal Kombat 11. In the fatality version, Mileena will consume a tin of nails before then unleashing a deadly barrage upon her poor victim.

Meanwhile, in Mortal Kombat 11, Mileena must perform a backward throw as her final move. Instead of teleporting into the back of her opponent, the lethal fighter will remove her mask and swallow a can of nails. After that, she will perform a deadly form of acupuncture as she shoots them all into her enemy’s body. Nail shooter is an iconic Mileena move that many would have been happy to see make a return in the latest title.

4 Tasty Treat

Time to let that inner beast out. The fight apparently worked up Mileena’s appetite in Mortal Kombat X, as she has a fatality that sees her feast on the competition. Tasty Treat is not as sweet as it may sound. Rather, the former Kahn of Outworld will ravish her opponents, tearing away at their midsection.

The enemy may try to escape, but, given they have lost the lower half of their body, they drop dead. Thus leaving Mileena to continue to feast on their innards. Tasty treat reminds players of just how animalistic the woman is, she is half-Tarkatan after all, and this fatality shows that in full force.

3 Let It Grow, Let It Grow

Mortal Kombat is not just a brutal gorefest. The games feature their fair share of comedy too. Even Mileena can embrace a lighter tune from time to time, even after brutalizing someone. In the latest title, the lethal warrior has a move called Stabyscotch, which sees her stab her foe in the eye. However, if it is the last move landed and is amplified, it can be turned into a brutality known as Let It Grow, Let It Grow.

After stabbing them in the eye, Mileena will drop their jaw clean off before dropping a seed in the gaping hole. As a result, while her enemy lays there dying, a pretty blue flower grows from their mouth. It is a reminder that not everything in Mortal Kombat is serious. In fact, many finishers mix comedy and gore together.

2 Spinning Out Of Control

Apparently, Mileena took some spinning lessons from Sonic. In Mortal Kombat 11, Kitana’s clone clearly channels her inner blue hedgehog as she performs her Spinning Out Of Control fatality. Mileena sends her opponent to the floor before taking to the air, only to take her sais and begin spinning in a forward motion.

Essentially becoming a living sawblade, the fighter then hurls herself towards her foe, cutting through, starting from the groin and working her way up until they have been cut in half. Of course, as this is going on, blood and guts are being thrown all over the place. Can’t help but think Sonic may regret taking Mileena under his wing.

1 Man-Eater

Perhaps the best-known fatality of the half-Tarkatan half-Edenian hybrid is Man-Eater. Mileena’s signature finisher was introduced in Mortal Kombat II, the first game that she starred in. However, it would also appear in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat X, and Mortal Kombat 11‘s DLC. The move itself is simple, yet that is part of what makes it iconic.

Mileena literally inhales her victim before turning to the other side and regurgitating their bones. However, in recent games, the fighter spits out blood chunks instead. This fatality was a sign of things to come, the perfect introduction to who would be one of the franchise’s most iconic characters.
