Remnant: From The Ashes – Everything You Need To Know About Labyrinth Armor (And How To Get It)

The Labyrtinth Armor in Remnant: From The Ashes is as stylish as it is powerful, but a lot of players miss out on it since there’re a lot of steps to obtain it. Players must make the right decisions during their campaign mode, then battle through the swamp DLC to get special items that go towards finding the armor.

It’s a lot to juggle but if players know what to do, getting the armor is pretty simple, as long as all the steps are followed. The hardest part about getting the Labyrinth set is that it takes a lot of time to complete all the required steps and farm the proper items needed.

6 Give The Iskal Queen The Beast Heart

This first step is imperative to getting the armor set since it happens in the campaign, when players are stuck between working with the Undying King or the Iskal Queen. If players want the armor set, they’ll have to give the Beast Heart to the Queen and fight the King. After this is done, players will gain access to Corsus through the labyrinth key, and can also freely trade with the Iskal Queen.

The sigil can only be gotten on adventure mode which is pretty daunting since the Queen might not spawn in the same place every time during this mode. The odds are that she will spawn in the Iskal Temple, but that’s only a 50% chance. She has a chance to spawn in any other dungeon, meaning players might have to go searching for her.

5 Get The Crpytolith Sigil

After this step is done, the player just has to talk to the Iskal Queen again and get the Cryptolith Sigil. This is a key item needed to get the Labyrinth Armor set. After getting the Sigil, players should explore in adventure mode in the Swamp or another dungeon until they find the Cryptolith.

Using the sigil on the Cryptolith grants different traits, as well as grants access to the Labyrinth Armor set. The first trait is Concentration, the second is Blood Bond, and the third time players use the sigil, they’ll get 25 glowing fragments and a portal to the armor. This can take up a lot of time since players will have to restart the dungeon every time they want to use the Cryptolith, meaning they have to find it every time.

4 The Armor Set

Labyrinth armor has a full armor value of 416 at max upgrades and total weight of 49. The defensive capabilities of the armor are decent, but nothing to go crazy about. What truly sets the armor apart is its offensive potential.

The armor has a 50% boost to weapon mods if the player wears all three pieces. This means it can be optimized with certain builds and mod upgrades to create some of the highest damage values in the game. The armor also attracts scrap and iron towards the player which is just a nice quality of life change since it’s pretty annoying to scan the ground and manually pick up those items.

3 Mod Power Builds

For players who want to use the Labyrinth Armor, mod power builds are their best bet. The armor enhances mods and can regenerate 10% of the mod when used, but it doesn’t help much with support abilities or mod generation. This means focusing on big damage and even damage over time should be the main focus.

The reason this armor is so powerful is because the 50% mod power boost is applied after all the other boosts players might have equipped. This means the 50% damage boost is stacked on top of a number that’s already more than 100% from rings, amulets, and traits. It’s insane to think that it would work this way, but it does.

2 Other Equipment

To make a mod power build, players should focus on weapons with high mod potential. Some of these weapons include Eye Of The Storm or Defiler. Mods to look out for include Unstable Quills and Breath of the Desert. These weapons and mods are powerful against certain enemies due to their elemental multipliers and ability to stack power on top of elemental damage, on top of critical damage.

Certain rings and amulets also go together really well with this tactic since they can improve mod damage through power or critical chance. Items like the Polished Whetstone, Razorstone, and Burden of the Follower which improve critical chances against enemies based on various circumstances.

1 Labyrinth Armor: Is It Worth It?

As an armor set, the Labyrinth Armor is extremely worth it for players who want to optimize their mod power and deal as much damage as they can. It’s versatile for these builds and makes almost every single one of them better.

For other players looking to fill a support and healing role, this armor is not worth the grind to get. Depending on luck, it can take hours to get fortunate enough to find the right dungeons with the Cryptolith in the right place, which is tedious. Also, it doesn’t improve healing or support mods at all, so its average defensive capabilities don’t make up for that.
