How to play PUBG: New State with friends

12 11 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

In addition to battle royale, New State features 4v4 Team Deathmatch among other multiplayer modes.

PUBG: New State is out for Android and iOS devices, giving a futuristic spin to the popular battle royale franchise. While its bread and butter is its 100-player battle royale map, New State also features 4v4 modes like Team Deathmatch, allowing you to team up with friends and compete against other players.

Like PUBG Mobile, New State doesn’t fully support controllers, meaning you can’t use some of the best mobile controllers out there to play with your friends. If you’re okay with touch controls, then hop on in.

How to add friends in PUBG: New State

You can add as many friends as you want, but keep in mind that you can only team up with up to three other players at a time.

On the left of the lobby screen, select Add Friend if you don’t have any yet.

If you do have friends and want to add another, select the icon in the upper right.

Save $50 on the SteelSeries Arctis 7P headset

10 11 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

For the longest time the SteelSeries Arctis 7P headset was sold out at most retailers, which was no surprise given that it’s easily one of the best PS5 headsets on the market. Ahead of Black Friday, SteelSeries has it back in-stock on its own storefront, and you can currently purchase it for just $100.

This will likely be the cheapest you’ll find this headset this holiday. Though a newer model, the Arctis 7P+, recently released, you shouldn’t expect the 7P to drop in price any further. The Arctis 7P usually sells for $150, and in the past some companies have taken to price gauging because it was so difficult to come by in-stock.

PlayStation recap: State of Play underwhelms, Elden Ring delayed

31 10 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

October marks the beginning of a slow end to the year for PlayStation.

It’s that time again for another PlayStation recap. Last month saw huge news drop from PlayStation’s showcase, which announced a Knights of the Old Republic Remake alongside new Spider-Man and Wolverine games.

This month wasn’t quite as eventful, but no doubt still full of important news across PlayStation land. The company is making good on its promise to bring more exclusives to PC, and HBO’s The Last of Us continues to film in Calgary, with fans getting behind the scenes photos of the stars in action. All of that was topped of by a State of Play highlighting third-party games coming to PS5. With that all said, let’s jump in and see what happened in October.

PlayStation State of Play underwhelms

Thw latest State of Play was a bit of a dud. Running through everything announced, there’s nothing too noteworthy besides a new Bugsnax expansion and a new Star Ocean game. Those little Bugsnax aren’t so little a…

Everything announced at PlayStation’s State of Play in October

27 10 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

Putting the focus on third-party developers this time around.

After a packed September showcase that revealed a Knights of the Old Republic Remake alongside Insomniac’s Spider-Man and Wolverine games, PlayStation held a smaller State of Play to show some love to third-party developers. This one ran around 20 minutes in length, as is the norm for showcases like this. New and previously announced titles made appearances, though none were jaw-dropping. We’ll run through everything that’s been announced in one convenient place.

Deathverse Let It Die

State of Play kicked off with the announcement of Deathverse: Let It Die, a multiplayer melee survival action game set to release for PS5 and PS4 in Spring 2022.

We Are OFK

We Are OFK follows the indie pop band as they “attempt to break into the music business, fall in and out of love, and figure out how to pay rent and make art in Los Angeles,” according to PlayStation. It is set to release in 2022 for PS5.

Does the PS5 lie horizontally? Here’s what we found.

22 10 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

Best answer: Yes. Although the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition were displayed vertically during their initial announcement, both can lie horizontally. However, you’ll need to use the included base to position your console.

Can the PS5 lie on its side?

Just like its predecessor, the PS5 can lie flat on its side. However, consumers were confused, thinking the PS5 could only stand vertically because it was shown in that position during its initial announcement. Nonetheless, the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition can be positioned horizontally.

Does the PS5 need a base to lie horizontally?

Yes, you’ll need to use the base to lie the PS5 horizontally. This is likely due to the PS5’s outer shell’s natural curve. Sony states that the base is included with the console, so you won’t need to purchase it separately. When lying the PS5 horizontally or positioning it vertically, you’ll need to use the base, which can be adjusted by unscrewing it seen in the official PS5 breakdown.

Every PS5 video game delay in 2021 — and their upcoming release dates

18 10 月, 2021 Jennifer Locke 0

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced developers to adapt their work pipelines and finish games from home. It has led to multiple delays.

Last year began with a slew of high-profile game delays, most notably Cyberpunk 2077 and the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but then COVID-19 struck and threw the games industry through a loop. Now that we’re well into 2021, more delays continue to hit the industry as developers truly begin to understand the effects of the pandemic on their work pipeline. One of the first major delays to surface this year was Hogwarts Legacy, pushed into 2022.

We’ve compiled a list of every game that has been delayed into 2021 and beyond. Some of these games are delayed indefinitely, while others have set release windows or a final release date.

We’ll continually update this list as more games are delayed.
