Sony’s PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition are now available to pre-order for $499 ($629.99 CAD) and $399 ($499.99 CAD), respectively, and will release on November 12. You’ll want to pre-order yours as soon as possible because they’re sure to sell out lightning fast. This whole PS5 preorder situation is a mess. Communication lines broke down between Sony, retailers, and fans, leading to mass confusion about when the PS5 would be available for preorder and stocks selling out almost instantly.

Launching alongside the PS5 is a line of accessories including a PULSE 3D wireless headset, media remote, HD camera, DualSense charging station, and of course the DualSense controller itself.

Best answer: Yes. Despite Microsoft purchasing Bethesda, and therefore IPs like Deathloop, it will still come to PS5. As of right now, it is set as a PS5 console exclusive in Q2 2021.

If you took Sony at its word and went to sleep yesterday hoping to preorder a PS5 in the morning, you likely woke up disappointed today. After announcing — not during its PS5 showcase, mind you, with all eyes watching, but on Twitter after the fact — that preorders for the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition would go on sale on Thursday, September 17, retailers decided to say “screw that” and put them up for preorder immediately. In nearly the same instant, initial stock vanished.

Remember when PlayStation worldwide marketing head Eric Lempel indicated that Sony would give players plenty of advance notice before the PS5 went up for preorder?
