6 8 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

Playing a hitman in virtual reality? Yeah, that’s going to go over smoothly with everyone.

What you need to know

Hitman 3 will support PSVR.
It will include all locations from the previous two games in the World of Assassination trilogy.
Hitman 3 is set to release for PS5 in January 2021.

During PlayStation’s State of Play focusing on PS4 and previously announced titles, IO Interactive revealed that Hitman 3 will support PSVR when it launches. This is especially good news because Hitman 3 is set to contain all previous levels from the first two games in the World of Assassination trilogy, meaning all three games will be playable in PSVR.

Developer IO Interactive bills this is the “dramatic conclusion” to the trilogy that began in 2016. Hitman 3 brings six new sandbox locations into the mix, taking players all across the world. If you’ve played the previous two games, you have a good inclination of what the gameplay will be like.

Inviting friends in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a breeze

5 8 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

You can have groups of up to four players total.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is fun on its own, but it’s even better to play with friends. While it is a competitive game where only one person can claim the crown, there are a few cooperative game modes thrown into the mix so that you aren’t always up against each other. It’s the perfect party game to play with a group, and hopefully you’ll have a lot of fun and not lose some friendships along the way.

The game doesn’t make it super easy to see how to invite fans, but once you know the steps, it’s fairly simple.

Fall Guys How to invite friends

Make sure you’re in the main menu.
Press triangle on your controller to invite players.
Select whichever friends (up to three) you’d like to invite.

Once they show up on the screen next to you, press X when you’re ready to join a game and have fun!

How to make a party

If you want to enable party chat, you’ll need to start a separate party through the PlayStation itself. Party chat is …

Did you know you have to grab that crown in Fall Guys?

5 8 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

Yes, you have to grab it to win. Don’t just fling your body at it.

The last man (peanut? jelly bean? blob?) standing in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout wins the coveted crown, but one particular course challenges you to actually grab a physical crown at the end of it. People tend to not do that, whether by accident or because they just don’t know how. Thankfully, it’s actually incredibly simple.

Fall Guys How to grab the crown

For starters, winning the crown and grabbing the crown are two different things. Winning a total victory after all rounds are over doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll compete in Fall Mountain, the map where you need to grab the crown. Sometimes in order to win you’ll need to be the last person wearing a tail on a course, or you’ll need to be the last person to fall into the slime at the bottom as the hexagons beneath your feet disappear. These courses do not require you to grab a crown.

On Fall Mountain, you’ll notice a large crown floating near the top. It’s not …

Having trouble inviting friends in Fall Guys? You’re not alone

4 8 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

These online connectivity problems should be fixed in the coming days.

What you need to know

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a free-for-all party game where players compete in increasingly wacky obstacle courses.
It is currently free on PS4 for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Due to a high number of people trying to play, the servers are being slammed and there are some matchmaking issues.

If you’re having trouble inviting friends in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on PS4, you’re not alone. The game is currently suffering some server and connectivity issues due to the sheer number of people trying to play it.

Over on Reddit, several players are experiencing the same problems. While some have been able to join a friend’s game after multiple attempts, not everyone is having the same luck. I can verify that I tried several times with a coworker and we could not join a game together.

Earlier this morning after the game had went live, the game’s official Twitter said that account creati…

Confused as to how to push and dive in Fall Guys? Check this out.

4 8 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

Let the chaos commence. Start diving and pushing your way to victory.

With Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout releasing onto PlayStation Plus, a ton of people are playing the multiplayer free-for-all for the first time. One thing you’ll notice right away is that it’s very useful to dive and push other players on your way to victory. Luckily, doing so is as simple as pressing a single button.

How to dive in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Press Square on your controller to dive forward in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. While it may not seem like it, diving can be just the trick you need to qualify for the next round. Not only can you dive and avoid projectiles coming your way or extend your air time for a longer jump, but you can also use it to lunge forward and potentially beat your opponents across the finish line.

How to push in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

There isn’t a dedicated push button, but you can grab on to players by holding the right trigger. During this time, you can either …

The global pandemic has forced developers to adapt their work pipelines and finish games from home. This has led to multiple delays.

Whatever you think of the PS5’s design, it sure is different

12 6 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

The design has been met with strong opinions but regardless of what you think, it’s certainly different from what we’ve seen in the past.

I don’t think anyone could have predicted the final design of the PS5 that Sony revealed yesterday. It’s a far cry from the leaked devkit that made the rounds months ago, and it’s not that similar to fan renders I’ve seen going around either. It’s also a huge departure from what Sony has delivered in previous generations.

The PS5 doesn’t seem to belong to the same family as the previous PlayStation consoles.

My first thought upon seeing it, other than my satisfaction with the design, was just how futuristic it looked. It looks like something pulled straight out of a movie set decades from now (or from decades ago depending on how you look at it). Not only does the PS5 sport a two-toned color scheme, breaking from the traditional black with a solid white, it features a flared shell that looks to separate from the interior section, nearly encl…

Sony’s PS5 reveal lacked a lot of clarity that players need

12 6 月, 2020 Jennifer Locke 0

The event was as spectacular as the game announcements, but it wasn’t perfect.

Sony revealed the PS5 yesterday to a lot of fanfare. After months of radio silence and a slow drip feed of information regarding the next-gen system, Sony pulled off a spectacular show with new game announcements and the console itself. Like my colleague Matt Brown wrote over on Windows Central, it put Microsoft’s initial Xbox Series X showcase to shame. Unfortunately, what’s clear the morning after is that Sony was far from clear in its messaging, and this lack of clarity may hurt it going forward.

This lack of clarity may hurt it going forward.

For starters, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was unveiled in a quick clip that had many thinking it was a full blown sequel. Once the chatter died down, more and more people considered the possibility of it being an expansion to the original game. Even Sony’s own representatives gave conflicting answers to what Insomniac now says.

Speaking with The Tel…
