God of War Ragnarok is the sequel to the 2018 God of War.
Developed by Sony Santa Monica, it was originally announced as releasing in 2021.
Now, Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed the game will instead launch in 2022.

God of War Ragnarok is widely anticipated to be one of the best PS5 games available when it launches but unfortunately, it won’t be out this year. In a statement on Twitter, the developer confirmed that God of War Ragnarok is delayed to 2022, becoming another name on a long list of PS5 games that have been delayed this year.

This upcoming title is developed by Sony Santa Monica, one of the most acclaimed developers at Sony Worldwide Studios. Activision has announced that Season 4 of Call of Duty: Mobile is about to begin on May 26, bringing with it new events and multiplayer modes as it introduces a Wild West theme to the popular title.

Season 4: Spurned and Burned will feature Clan Wars, a new version of 1v1 Duel (unlimited bullets), weapon balancing, and a Marquee Event called High Noon Chase, where players band together to chase down a stagecoach full of bank robbers. Though the season begins on May 26, High Noon Chase won’t be available until later in the season on June 11.

Sometimes it’s better to wait before download the latest game patch

Automatic game updates on PS5 can be useful, but there are also times you can get burned from leaving them on. Whether it’s because your game closes and you lose your progress or the patch needs to be pulled because of unforeseen errors, you don’t always want games to update without your approval automatically. Thankfully, learning how to turn off auto-updates on PS5 is simple, and you can toggle this setting on and off as much as you like. Let’s get started!

Go to Settings. (The top right gear icon)
Select Saved Data and Game/App Settings.

Select Automatic Updates.
Toggle off Auto-Download.

Toggle off Auto-Install in Rest Mode.

Be aware that turning off update files for your system does not stop automatic game downloads. These are two separate settings. Turning off update files within your system software settings will only stop firmware updates from downloading until you manually install them.
