The latest in the Pixel leaks saga is a video comparing the cameras of the Pixel 4 XL and the iPhone XS Max (never mind that Google announced the phone’s unveiling date just yesterday). This video is by the same channel that compared the Pixel 4 XL cam with the Galaxy Note10+.
The video starts with details on the camera hardware. The wide camera on the back is based on a Sony IMX363 image sensor – 12.2MP with 1.4µm pixels, 1/2.55″. This is the same sensor that the Pixel 3 and 3a use. The telephoto camera has an IMX481 sensor – 16MP with 1.0µm pixels, 1/3.6″.
