These are the games we wish would be announced for Playstation 5
The heart wants what the heart wants. And to quote Han Solo: Never tell me the odds.
None of these games have been announced in any official capacity, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting them anyway. We all have our favorite series we want to see continue or a franchise just starting out that didn’t get a fair shake. Everyone has different tastes — and non-realistic expectations. Whether it’s a pipe dream or a sequel almost certainly in the works, here’s what we want to see release for Sony’s PlayStation 5.
God of War 2
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Horizon Zero Dawn 2
Uncharted 5
The Witcher 4
Grand Theft Auto 6
Dishonored 3
Days Gone 2
Control 2
Destiny 3
Gran Turismo 7
Bloodborne 2
Detroit: Become Human 2
Final Fantasy 16
Killzone 4
The Order: 1887
Prey 2
Fallout 5
Mass Effect 4
Sunset Overdrive 2
God of War 2
Considering God of War’s success, I can’t imagine Sony Santa Monica not being hard at work on a sequel. When you have a hit like that, you don’t let the IP sit and colle… 閱讀全文
You should use two-factor everywhere, and your PS4 is no exception!
In a world where even gaming networks are being targeted and compromised by nefarious characters, it never hurts to add an extra layer of protection to our accounts wherever we are able. Two-factor authentication requires you to use a secondary key when logging into your account — so even if someone gets your password, they still can’t get into your account easily — and since PlayStation supports Two-Step Verification, you should absolutely use it on your PS4!
How to set up Two-Step Verification on your PlayStation 4
From the dashboard of your PS4, select Settings.
Scroll down and select Account Management.
From the Account Management page, select Account Information.
Select Security.
Scroll down and select 2-Step Verification.
Select Set Up Now.
On the first Set Up page, enter the cell phone number where you want to receive texts.
Select Add.
A test SMS message with a verification code will be sent to your cell phone. Enter your two-factor code.
Select Activate.

What regions is Stadia available in?
Best answer: Google revealed that upon Stadia’s launch in 2019 it will be available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and parts of Europe first. The company hasn’t mentioned support for Asia, South America, India, or Africa yet.

What’s the full list of countries Stadia is available in?

Why just the U.S, Canada, U.K., and parts of Europe?
Presumably, Google sees these areas as the most important markets to target, and these regions already have decent internet infrastructures. The company otherwise did not specify the reasoning for this decision. As of right now, there’s no information on availabili… 閱讀全文
Can I play Stadia on my Chromebook?
Best answer: Yes, you can play Stadia on your Chromebook even if you have one with incredibly low specs. Google wants Stadia to be accessible to everyone regardless of how powerful their devices are.
Entry level: Lenovo Chromebook 2-in-1 Convertible Laptop ($310 at Amazon)
Go wireless: Google Stadia controller ($69 at Google)
Bigger and better: ASUS C302 Chromebook Flip ($521 at Amazon)
What’s the catch?
No catch, according to Google. It really can work with any model Chromebook, even if you decided to pick up the cheapest thing you could find on sale one day. Because of how Stadia works, you shouldn’t need anything more than what you already have to play it.
How does it work in practice? While some folks have run into trouble consistently playing on extremely high definition settings on older Chromebook models, there doesn’t seem to be an issues with Stadia simply not working on one. The company’s whole motto with this is, “Game where you want, when you want,” and that seems t… 閱讀全文
What is Stream Connect for Stadia?
Best answer: Stream Connect is Stadia’s way of supporting multiplayer gaming experiences. In particular, local couch co-op experiences via split-screen.
Bring couch co-op back: Chromecast Ultra ($69 at Amazon)
Play the right way: Stadia Controller ($69 at Google Store)
How does multiplayer work on Stadia?
According to Google’s Erin Hoffman-John, lead designer for research and development on Stadia, the service will utilize Google’s data centers. “Using Google’s unique infrastructure, developers can create games built to house hundreds of players with low latency and perfect synchronization,” she said.
How does Stream Connect work?
Modern games have become so robust that the utilization of split-screen technology has steadily declined because rendering two or more scenes at the same time is too taxing on current hardware. Because Stadia’s clients reside in the cloud, Google hopes for a local couch co-op resurgence. Each screen on a split-screen view will be powered by a separat… 閱讀全文

Best answer: Google’s Stadia supports 4K resolution at 60FPS, though it can go lower to 1080p and 720p resolution. At some point in the future, the company aims for it to support 8K at 120FPS.
Stream to your TV: Chromecast Ultra ($69 at Amazon)
Start playing Stadia: Stadia Premiere Edition ($130 at Google Store)
How do I get my games to stream in 4K?
The ability to stream games in 4K resolution is dependent on your internet bandwidth. If your internet quality is bad, you won’t be able to reach the best resolutions possible. Google has not revealed the exact speed that you will need, but in comparison streaming in 1080p requires around 25mbps.
What if my screen does not support 4K resolution?
You’ll still get a high-quality stream (provided your internet connection is good enough) even if your display does not support 4K resolution, it just won’t be in true 4K.

For example, when PlayStation 4 users can hop into a match against someone on PC or Nintendo Switch, that is cross-platform play. Start streaming: Stadia Premiere Edition ($130 at Google Store)
How does State Share work?
The game’s state will be encoded in a link that tells Stadia where to pick up the game at a specific moment in time. This link can then be sent to any number of players who can click on it and instantly hop into the game at the point it was shared.

Play on your TV: Chromecast Ultra ($69 at Amazon)
Start streaming: Stadia Premiere Edition ($130 at Google Store)
How does Crowd Play work?
Say you’re watching your favorite streamer play a game on YouTube and want to join in. With Crowd Play, there will be a button that you can click that allows you to join in the game with the live streamer. Because there may be a high influx of players, you won’t be able to immediately join the game. Instead, you’ll be placed into a lobby and wait your turn for the next available match.
The button on-screen in the demo appears to indicate which number you are in line, with the person in the demo’s case being third in line to play. It will continually update to display your number as you move forward in line and are on deck to jump into the game.
